So, I have been reading the comments left by everyone, and after a good amount of deliberation, I realize that I need to apologize. I have done myself and you all a disservice by forcefully pushing the novel forward without proper thought or care.
Realizing this, I have taken down the last three chapters and will start over from the end of the war. I will actually go through Tiberius' time immediately after and his learning in Rivendell. I am also hoping to expand further into THE MC's character.
I want to say thank you to the two individuals who said something to me that I was already starting to realize, but you helped accelerate the process. I appreciate this kind of feedback, and I hope that moving forward, you all will continue to give me the good, the bad, and the ugly.
You should expect two new chapters to be released later this week. I am currently brainstorming and slowing down my writing to improve character development.
