The receptionist led Kaito to a large wooden board in the center of the room, where a variety of quests were posted. Kaito's eyes widened as he scanned the board, taking in the different requests. Some were simple tasks, such as delivering goods to a nearby town, while others were more complex, such as defeating a group of bandits that had been terrorizing a local village.
Kaito's eyes landed on a quest that caught his attention. "Collect 10 bunches of Wild Chamomile," the quest read. "Reward: 10 Bronze coins"
Kaito pointed to the quest. "I'll take this one," he said to the receptionist.
The receptionist smiled. "Excellent choice. Wild Chamomile is a rare herb that only grows in the nearby forest. It's a simple quest, but it's a good way to get started. Just be careful, the forest can be treacherous, especially for a solo adventurer."
Kaito nodded, feeling a sense of excitement. He was finally going to start his adventuring career.
The receptionist handed Kaito a small piece of parchment with the quest details written on it. "Just bring back the Wild Chamomile and we'll pay you the reward. Good luck, Kaito."
Kaito took the parchment and tucked it into his belt. He said goodbye to the receptionist and headed out of the guild, eager to start his first quest.
