In every world, the cycles of time played out in a repeating pattern. Each cycle consisted of three loops, with a gap of many years between each loop. During each loop, the avatars of the three main gods worked together to maintain the balance of the world.
At the end of each cycle, one of the avatars would ascend to the domain of the three main gods, becoming one with the divine. A new avatar would be born, and the remaining two avatars would guide and mentor the new one, helping it to regain its former power.
However, during the time between the ascension of the old avatar and the regaining of power by the new one, the world would be plunged into chaos. The balance of the world would be disrupted, and the forces of creation, preservation, and destruction would be in disarray.
As the new avatar began to regain its power, the 14 lokas would collapse into each other, causing chaos and destruction throughout the universe. The lower lokas, driven by darkness and malice, would attack the upper lokas, seeking to exploit the weakness and disorder.
The Bhur-loka, being the first line of defense, would be invaded by the lower lokas, and monsters and dark creatures would pour into the world, threatening the very fabric of the universe. The three main gods, through their avatars, would work to maintain balance and restore order, using their combined powers to banish the darkness back to the lower lokas.
The world would remain in chaos until the new avatar regained its peak power, restoring balance to the world and banishing the darkness back to the lower lokas. The three main gods, through their avatars, would once again maintain the balance of the universe, guiding the worlds through the cycles of time.
