As Si Kong arrived at the Gu mansion, the gatekeeper stepped forward, trembling. "Who are you? How dare you come to the Gu mansion so boldly?"
Si Kong's cold expression remained unchanged. The gatekeeper's eyes widened as he noticed the Pei mafia group logo on the van. His legs weakened, and he stumbled backward, informing the matriarch and patriarch of the Gu family.
Matriarch Gu hastened to the gate, kowtowing before Si Kong. "Please, forgive us. We're just a family of three. Pity us." Gu Shinian joined her, begging for mercy.
Si Kong's chuckle sent chills down their spines. "We're not here for your family. We're here to kill your patriarch."
In a flash, he drew his dagger, pressing it against Patriarch Gu's neck. The sharp blade pierced his skin, and blood seeped out. Si Kong released his grip, and the guards exchanged uneasy glances.
"I won't be the one to kill you," Si Kong said, his voice dripping with cold amusement. "My subordinate will."
Guard 1 sliced Patriarch Gu's neck, ending his life. Si Kong's gaze lingered on the body, his thoughts inscrutable.
Meanwhile, Nuan Nuan arrived at the Chu mansion, only to be met with her mother's scorn.
"Stop right there, Nuan Nuan," her mother spat. "I don't have a daughter like you. Go back to where you came from."
A harsh slap echoed through the air, leaving Nuan Nuan reeling. Her mother's words cut deeper than any blade.
...Uncle Jiao dragged her out, casting her onto the ground outside the gate. The sound of thunder grew louder, and the sky darkened. The first raindrops began to fall, gently at first, then intensifying into a relentless downpour.
Nuan Nuan didn't move, her body trembling under the torrent. Her clothes clung to her, heavy with water, her hair plastered to her face. She was drenched, shivering, and alone.

Chu Anxin vanished into the mansion, leaving Nuan Nuan shattered and broken.
Chenheng's black car screeched to a halt beside her. His devilish grin twisted her heart.
"You think you can escape me, Pei Chenheng?" He dragged her into the car, his eyes blazing with cruelty. "Your punishment awaits."
As Chenheng drove he glanced at her from time to time thinking she was going to speak but she sat there like living dead not daring to say a word and just waiting for whatever punishment awaits her.
