New Delhi, Bharat, December 3, 1945
Aryan found himself back in his study, the familiar surroundings a stark contrast to the infinite white void he had just left. Before he could fully process his return, he was enveloped in a tight embrace. Athena, in her homunculus body, clung to him, her eyes filled with worry. Shakti and Nalini were also there, their faces etched with concern.
"Aryan!" Athena's voice trembled. While Aryan was summoned to the white space by the One Above All, his body was left behind in the real world and was unresponsive, which made Athena beyond worried for the first time. In a panic, she called Shakti and Nalini, who immediately rushed over, leaving behind whatever they were doing. "You were unresponsive. I couldn't reach you through our soul connection. I was so scared."
Shakti added, "Athena called us when she couldn't get through to you. We tried everything, but you were justโฆ gone." She felt panicked when she heard about the situation from Athena and didn't know what to do, but before she could go berserk, Aryan returned to his usual self, and now she felt immense relief.
Nalini nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "It felt like forever. You were unresponsive for about ten minutes." She appeared the most calm among the girls present from the outside, but inwardly she too was immensely distressed about Aryan's condition while she tried to calm down the others as they were panicking. Fortunately, to her relief, Aryan had now returned to normal.
Aryan gently extricated himself from their embrace, his mind racing. He tried to pacify the girls as he contemplated the situation and realized that the One Above All had actually isolated his soul, summoning him to that space without Athena, who was inseparable from him. The sheer power required to undo his fate and probability manipulations and summon only his soul was staggering. He once again realized the powers of the One Above All.
"I'm sorry for worrying you all," Aryan said, his voice steady but soft. "The supreme being of existence, The One Above All, summoned me. He isolated my soul and brought me to a space where time and reality held no sway."
Athena's eyes widened. "The One Above All? What did he want?" With her vast knowledge and processing skills, she knew who the One Above All was and was astonished at the situation.
"He warned me about the consequences of using Aetherian Ascendance without cosmic authority," Aryan explained. "He sealed my ability temporarily and told me I need to earn the favor of cosmic entities like Eternity to use it without causing harm."
Shakti frowned. "So are the gods interfering? What do we do now?"
Aryan took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his resolve. "No, no, it's nothing that serious. We just need to find alternative paths. No more shortcuts. I'll develop other strategies and abilities to counter Bhishanara. We need to restore balance to the multiverse and prove our worth."
Nalini placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We'll always support you, Aryan. We can overcome this together."
Athena nodded, her determination mirroring his own. "We'll find a way. We always do."
Aryan smiled, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "Thank you. With all of you by my side, I know we can face whatever comes our way."
The room, once filled with tension, now felt lighter. Aryan's resolve was stronger than ever, bolstered by the unwavering support of those he cared about.
March 1946, New Delhi, Bharat
The chill of winter had given way to the mild warmth of early spring. The 26th of January had come and gone, marking the implementation of the Constitution of Bharat and the first Republic Day. The celebrations had been grand, a testament to the nation's newfound sovereignty and unity. Now, the focus had shifted to the upcoming elections, a monumental event that would shape the future of Bharat.
Aryan, the Presidential candidate for the Bharatiya Vikas Sangh (BVS), was deep in preparations. The newly formed Election Commission of Bharat was overseeing the elections, ensuring a fair and transparent process. The elections spanned all levels of government, from the Panchayat to the Presidential election, and the atmosphere was charged with anticipation.
Aryan's days were filled with rallies across the whole country and debates. The BVS, under his leadership, was a formidable force, but the Congress party, led by Jawaharlal Nehru, was equally strong. The debates were intense, with Aryan and Nehru presenting their visions for Bharat's future. Aryan's charisma and vision for a progressive Bharat resonated with many, but Nehru's experience and eloquence were hard to counter. The Congress tried to counter Aryan's influence and charisma by targeting his younger age and lesser experience, but they were effectively countered by the BVS and Aryan himself, who emphasized his achievements and his work as the head of the interim government. Coupled with factual points, on-ground benefits and development of Bharat that were visible to people by naked eyes and Aryan's own influence on people, who had connected with the most unfortunate during his work as a superhero, Aryan and the BVS were able to counter the narrative of Congress and were now placed comfortably in the driving seat.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Vice Presidential candidate for BVS, was a pillar of strength. His debates with the Congress's Vice Presidential candidate were equally compelling. Patel's pragmatic approach and unwavering dedication to Bharat's unity were his strongest assets.
The rallies were a sight to behold. Crowds gathered in thousands, eager to hear the candidates speak. Aryan's speeches were passionate, filled with promises of development, unity, and progress. He spoke of a Bharat where every citizen had a voice, where opportunities were abundant, and where the nation stood strong on the global stage.
Athena, Shakti, and Nalini were always by his side, their support unwavering. Athena's strategic mind, Shakti's fierce determination, and Nalini's calming presence were invaluable. Together, they formed a formidable team, ready to face any challenge.
As the election day approached, the tension in the air was palpable. Aryan knew that the future of Bharat rested on these elections. He was determined to lead the nation towards a brighter future, and with the support of his team and the people, he believed they could achieve anything.
The stage was set, and the nation watched with bated breath as the candidates prepared for the final showdown. The future of Bharat was about to be decided, and Aryan was ready to lead the charge.
