Royal Palace, Wakanda, June 5, 1943
Aryan leaned back, considering T'Chaka's words. "I see… Now it makes sense," he said thoughtfully.
Namor, the Sub-Mariner, a powerful mutant with his half-Atlantean heritage, was always considered an anti-hero in comics and movies, known for his ambitious and aggressive nature. Aryan could understand why Wakanda and Bast would consider him a threat.
Aryan continued, "An alliance between Bharat and Wakanda could indeed be mutually beneficial. Bharat can help the people of Africa openly, while you provide advanced technology discreetly, ensuring Wakanda's secrecy remains intact."
Aryan proposed this as he thought it might bolster Bharat's influence in Africa and open doors for Bharatiya products in the African market. He was aware that Bharat, viewed as a backward country by Western nations despite its growing influence, faced biases against metahumans, making it difficult to market their products in the West. The same problem existed with Soviet Russia, where even in the future timeline of his previous life Bharatiya companies struggled due to perceptions of Bharat as a dirty and poor country, leading to a growing trade deficit despite cordial relations between the two countries.
Thus, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia would provide more stable market opportunities for Bharat in the coming years, fostering mutual growth compared to other regions.
Aryan also did not push for obtaining Vibranium from Wakanda, knowing it would only be possible with T'Challa, not T'Chaka, due to his personality and beliefs. It didn't matter to him, as he could always create the metal, having analyzed its atomic structure, or mine it from space.
T'Chaka nodded, his eyes reflecting a mix of relief and determination. "It is a good proposal. We also want to help our brothers and sisters across Africa, but we cannot risk exposing Wakanda. Your nation's involvement will allow us to extend our aid without drawing unwanted attention."
Aryan smiled, emphasizing the potential of this partnership. "With your technology, combined with our own initiatives in cutting-edge technology, we can make significant advancements."
The two leaders continued to discuss the details of their alliance, outlining how Bharat would provide humanitarian aid and infrastructure development openly, while Wakanda would supply cutting-edge technology and resources in secret. They also planned joint initiatives to improve education, healthcare, and economic opportunities across Africa.
After the serious discussion, T'Chaka invited Aryan to join him for lunch. The atmosphere lightened as they moved to a grand dining hall adorned with intricate Wakandan art. T'Chaka introduced Aryan to his family members, starting with his wife, Queen N'Yami, whose grace and wisdom were evident in her every gesture. He also introduced his two brothers S'Yan, who he had previously met, and N'Jobu, who was quite young at this time, approximately nine years old. Aryan remembered from the movies that in the future he would be killed by T'Chaka, and then his son would come to take revenge on Wakanda. He didn't put much thought into this as it was an internal matter of Wakanda and for T'Challa, the future king and Black Panther of Wakanda.
As they settled down, T'Chaka spoke warmly, "Aryan, it is my honor to introduce you to my family. My wife, N'Yami. We are pleased to have you here."
Aryan greeted them with respect, feeling the camaraderie growing between them. The meal was a blend of traditional Wakandan dishes, rich in flavors and history. As they ate, the conversation flowed easily, touching on various topics from culture to shared aspirations for their nations.
The surprise came when T'Chaka announced a special guest. The doors opened to reveal N'Gabo, the formidable leader of the J'Abari tribe. Known for their traditional beliefs and rejection of Vibranium-based weaponry and technologies, the J'Abari had always distanced themselves from the rest of Wakanda. N'Gabo's presence was unexpected but significant.
N'Gabo approached Aryan with a respectful nod. "We have heard of your arrival from the land of Hanuman, whom we worship as our god. It is an honor to meet you."
Aryan stood, returning the nod with equal respect. "The honor is mine, N'Gabo. I am humbled by your presence and the respect you show."
N'Gabo's stern expression softened slightly. "We may have our differences with the rest of Wakanda, but we recognize the importance of unity in times of need. Your visit here signifies a new beginning, and we are here to pay our respects."
The meeting with N'Gabo added a profound layer to Aryan's visit. It symbolized the potential for unity and collaboration, even among those with differing beliefs and practices.
KAVACH Headquarters, New Delhi, Bharat, June 5, 1943
While Aryan was in Wakanda, Athena was meticulously preparing for the enhancement of selected KAVACH candidates. These individuals, previously normal humans, were about to undergo a transformation that would push the boundaries of human potential. The alchemical potion, a result of Athena and Aryan's combined efforts, promised to evolve their genes, granting them abilities beyond human limits.
Athena, with her vast knowledge and precision, oversaw every detail. She ensured that every aspect of the procedure was flawless, guiding the KAVACH operatives through the intricate process.
In the observation room, Karna, the assistant director of KAVACH, stood alongside Rudra, Shakti, and Varshika. They watched intently as the candidates prepared for their transformation.
The room was filled with anticipation and solemnity. The candidates, standing in a circle, were ready to embrace their new destinies. Athena's voice echoed through the chamber, calm and authoritative.
"Initiating the enhancement process," she announced. "Agents, brace yourselves for the evolution."
The alchemical potion was administered, and a profound change began to take place. The candidates' bodies glowed with an ethereal light as their genes were rewritten. Muscles strengthened, senses sharpened, and a new energy coursed through their veins. The transformation was both physical and magical, enhancing their capabilities to unprecedented levels.
Karna observed with a mix of pride and awe. "This is incredible, just think about the doors of possibilities that these potions open for KAVACH," he remarked, his voice filled with conviction.
Rudra nodded, his eyes never leaving the candidates. "Yes, these agents will be a valuable asset, capable of facing dangerous threats along with our metahuman agents."
Shakti and Varshika exchanged a glance, their expressions reflecting determination. "We will have to ensure that they are provided guidance and support in the goals and plans of KAVACH, as they embrace their new powers," Shakti said, while Varshika nodded silently in aggreement.
As the transformation completed, the candidates stood taller, their presence exuding newfound strength and confidence. Athena's voice resonated once more, "Enhancement successful. Welcome to your new selves."
The room erupted in a quiet celebration, the air thick with the promise of what was to come. The enhanced operatives of KAVACH were now ready to take on their roles, their abilities a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence and the unwavering dedication of those who guided them.
