New Delhi, Bharat, October 5, 1942
The grand halls of Rashtrapati Bhavan were abuzz with anticipation as American diplomats prepared for their meeting with President Aryan Yadav. Leading the delegation was Secretary of State Cordell Hull, accompanied by Margaret "Peggy" Carter, whose past encounter with Aryan at Princeton University added a personal touch to the proceedings. Alongside them was Captain America, the embodiment of American ideals and a symbol of hope and freedom.
As they entered the opulent meeting room, Aryan Yadav rose to greet them, his demeanor reflecting both warmth and authority. "Secretary Hull, Miss Carter, Captain Rogers, welcome to Bharat," he said, doing namaste and then extending his hand.
Hull responded with a firm handshake. With a flattering smile, he said, "Thank you, President Yadav. It's an honor meeting you. We have heard about your genius and also some special abilities of yours."
"The USA has always been supportive of freedom and democracy, and hearing about your struggle against tyranny, you have our respect and support. I believe the USA and Bharat have much in common in regards to that. We have much to discuss."
Peggy Carter stepped forward, her eyes meeting Aryan's with a hint of familiarity and respect. "It's good to see you again, Aryan. Your leadership has been truly inspiring."
"I don't know if you recall, but we've met before when you gave the speech at Princeton University."
Aryan smiled, recalling their previous meeting. "Likewise, Peggy. Yes, I remember our brief interaction along with Stark. Your presence here is most welcome."
Captain America, standing tall and resolute, nodded in acknowledgment. "President Yadav, it's a privilege to meet you. Your fight for freedom and efforts in uniting Bharat have been remarkable."
Aryan's expression softened with gratitude. "Thank you, Captain Rogers. I have been hearing about your inspiring battles against Nazis. You truly represent American hope and resilience."
After exchanging pleasantries, the group took their seats around a large table adorned with maps and documents. Secretary Hull began the discussion. "President Yadav, we are here to recognize Bharat's status on the global stage and to propose several benefits, including educational scholarships for Bharatiya students in America and advancements in civil and military technology."
Aryan listened intently, his eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and determination. "These proposals are indeed beneficial for our nation. Education and technological advancements are crucial for our progress."
Peggy added, "We believe that fostering educational exchanges will strengthen the bond between our nations. Your students will gain valuable knowledge and experience in America."
Aryan nodded thoughtfully. "This is a promising initiative. Our youth are the future, and such opportunities will empower them to contribute significantly to our nation's development."
Captain America then addressed the pressing issue. "President Yadav, we also seek your support in the ongoing war effort against the Axis powers. The sudden withdrawal of Bharatiya soldiers has impacted our operations. Your alliance with the Allied forces is crucial."
"We understand Bharat's discontent for the UK and other European colonizers, but our fight is against genocidal maniacs who want eventual world domination."
Aryan's expression grew serious. "I understand the gravity of the situation, Captain. We know that Bharat's position in this war is a matter of great importance. However, we must consider the implications carefully."
Secretary Hull leaned forward, his tone earnest. "President Yadav, your support would not only bolster the Allied forces but also secure Bharat's place as a key player on the global stage. Together, we can ensure a future of peace and stability."
Aryan took a moment to reflect, the weight of the decision evident in his eyes. "You are right, Bharat's commitment to peace and justice aligns with the Allied cause. However, we must ensure that our involvement serves the best interests of our people."
Peggy spoke softly, her voice filled with conviction. "Aryan, your leadership has already brought unity and strength to Bharat. Joining the Allied forces will further solidify your nation's standing and contribute to a just world order."
Aryan met her gaze, a sense of resolve forming within him. "You are right, Peggy. Bharat's destiny is intertwined with the global struggle for freedom and justice. We will stand with the Allies. However, Bharat will not send its soldiers to the war. Our soldiers are needed here to protect our borders and also to prevent any unwanted things happening during these uncertain times when the negotiations with the UK are still ongoing."
"What we can assure you of is that we will provide logistics and cheaper ammunition for the Allied forces and that Bharat will not join the Axis."
Secretary Hull, sensing the hesitation, leaned in with a reassuring tone. "President Yadav, we understand your concerns. To address them, we propose to mediate between Bharat and the UK to ensure a smooth negotiation process. This way, Bharat can focus on its internal security while also contributing significantly to the Allied cause."
Peggy Carter, showing her respect for Aryan, added, "Aryan, we respect your decision and the need to protect your nation. We hope that as the situation evolves, Bharat might reconsider and join us fully in the fight against tyranny."
Captain America nodded in agreement to Peggy's words and said, "Your support, in any form, is invaluable. We hope that in the future, Bharat will see the benefits of a full alliance with the Allies. Until then, we appreciate your commitment to providing logistical support and ammunition."
Aryan, appreciating their understanding, replied, "Thank you for your support and willingness to mediate. Bharat's commitment to justice and peace remains steadfast. We will continue to support the Allied forces in every way we can, and I will consider your proposal for future involvement."
Berlin, Germany, October 5, 1942
In the dimly lit war room of a secluded mansion, Baron Zemo stood at the head of a long table, surrounded by his most trusted subordinates. The air was thick with tension as they reviewed the latest intelligence reports.
Baron Zemo's eyes narrowed as he spoke, his voice cold and calculating. "Captain America is in Bharat, attempting to secure their alliance with the Allies. This cannot be allowed to happen."
"The mutants or metahumans, as they like to call themselves, are a potential asset for Hydra's plans."
One of his top lieutenants, Klaus, leaned forward, his expression grim. "What do you propose, Baron? We tried bringing them under us, but they refused and were adamant on remaining neutral. We tried to use force, but they were too strong for us."
"Also, Captain America is a formidable opponent himself. He was able to best us many times. We are losing ground against him."
Zemo, hearing his subordinate, curled his lips into a sinister smile. "This time we will not fall, we will infiltrate Bharat with our best spies and assassins. I will lead the mission myself. Our objective is to eliminate Captain America and ensure that Bharat is blamed for his death. This will force them to ally with the Axis powers."
Another subordinate, Ingrid, nodded in agreement. "With Bharat's metahumans on our side, Hydra's plan for world domination will be unstoppable."
Zemo's gaze hardened. "Precisely. We must act swiftly and with precision. Our operatives will blend in with the local population, gather intelligence, and strike when the moment is right. Captain America must not leave Bharat alive."
Klaus spoke up again, his voice filled with determination. "What about the Bharatiya government? They will surely investigate the assassination."
Zemo waved his hand dismissively. "We will plant evidence to implicate them. By the time they realize the truth, it will be too late. The world will see Bharat as a traitor to the Allied cause."
Ingrid's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "And what of the metahumans? How do we ensure their cooperation?"
Zemo's smile returned, more sinister than before. "We will offer them power and influence. Those who resist will be dealt with accordingly. Hydra's reach is long, and our promises are enticing."
The room fell silent as Zemo's plan took shape in their minds. The stakes were high, but the rewards were even greater. With Bharat under their control, Hydra's vision of a new world order was within reach.
Zemo stood, his presence commanding the room. "Prepare the operatives. We leave for Bharat at dawn. Captain America will fall, and the world will tremble before Hydra."
As his subordinates dispersed to carry out their orders, Zemo stared at the map of Bharat, his mind already calculating the next steps. The game was in motion, and he was determined to emerge victorious.
