Kale shook in fear even though David spoke calmly to him. With a trembling body, Kale tried to shake his head. But his movements stopped again when David warned him in a cold tone.
"Be careful in answering my question, Kale."
Kale racked his brain to understand the meaning of David's question. The man was silent until David's feet began to tap the floor, indicating that the man was impatient to hear his answer.
