"Cut!"
The director looked wearily at Ray, who had again made a mistake in his scene. In all the time he had worked with Ray, that was the first time he had seen him perform so poorly. Ray just kept making mistakes time after time. His body was indeed there and was trying to keep up with all the directions. His mind, however, was clearly not where it had been since Ray arrived that morning.
Ray's manager even had a hard time controlling him, who looked restless occasionally. Ray would occasionally tap his foot on the floor or play with his fingers with a frown when someone wasn't paying attention to him. The current Ray was even quieter than before. The director suspected that something had happened to the man who was usually known for being professional and friendly.
