Chapter 7 - New Skills and Boss Fight

Dracon stood motionless in the center of the dim cavern, the air around him heavy with tension. From the shadows ahead, the Behemoths emerged, their massive forms bristling with raw power. Their eyes glowed crimson, radiating hunger and aggression.

Dracon stretched his arms, his expression calm, almost bored. "Alright," he muttered, rolling his neck. "Let's see what these new skills are capable of."

The first Behemoth snarled, its muscles rippling as it charged forward, claws extended. Dracon smirked, waiting until the last second before sidestepping with lightning speed. His fist shot out, connecting with the Behemoth's jaw with a deafening crack.

The beast was sent flying backward, slamming into the cavern wall with such force that rocks crumbled around it.

"Not bad," Dracon said, shaking his hand lazily. "But I need more than that to break a sweat."

The remaining Behemoths roared in unison, their combined fury shaking the ground as they surged toward him.

Dracon's smirk widened. "Perfect."

He dashed forward, meeting the stampede head-on. The first Behemoth swung its massive claws downward, aiming to crush him. Dracon raised his arm, catching the blow effortlessly. The force rippled through the ground, creating a shockwave that sent smaller rocks flying.

"Is that all you've got?" Dracon taunted.

With a twist of his wrist, he threw the Behemoth off balance, delivering a spinning kick that sent it crashing into two others. He leapt into the air, twisting mid-flight, and brought his heel down on another Behemoth's skull. The creature roared in pain before collapsing under the sheer force.

Ding! The Host has unlocked the skill: Counter (Level 1/10).

Dracon landed gracefully, dust swirling around him. The remaining Behemoths hesitated, their ferocity faltering in the face of his overwhelming power.

"Oh, come on," Dracon said, spreading his arms. "Don't tell me you're scared now."

The largest Behemoth snarled and charged, its massive bulk shaking the cavern with every step. Dracon crouched slightly, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Let's see how far you can fly."

The moment the Behemoth lunged, Dracon delivered a devastating uppercut. The creature was launched skyward, its massive frame flailing as it ascended. Dracon shot after it, his speed a blur.

Mid-air, he unleashed a barrage of punches, each strike creating shockwaves that echoed through the cavern. The Behemoth's body twisted unnaturally, unable to counter the relentless assault.

"Let's finish this," Dracon said, raising his fists. He slammed both hands into the Behemoth's chest, sending it hurtling toward the ground.

The impact was cataclysmic. Dust and debris erupted in all directions, and when it cleared, the Behemoth lay in a massive crater, unmoving.

Ding! The Host has unlocked the skills: Martial Arts (Level 1/10) and Flight (Level 1/10).

Dracon floated down, his crimson eyes scanning the remaining Behemoths. "Still interested?" he asked, his voice low and taunting.

The Behemoths roared, their fear replaced by desperate fury.

"Good," Dracon said, cracking his knuckles. "Let's keep going."

The Boss Fight: The True Dragon

After finishing off the Behemoths and maxing out his skills, Dracon pushed open the colossal gates to the boss's lair. The cavern beyond was vast, its walls shimmering with veins of gold and crimson. At its center lay a massive dragon, its scales gleaming like molten metal.

Dracon paused, a grin tugging at his lips. "Well, aren't you a sight to behold?"

The dragon's eyes snapped open, locking onto him. It rose slowly, its massive wings unfolding with a sound like thunder. Its roar shook the arena, and a wave of heat rolled through the air.

Without warning, the dragon unleashed a torrent of fire. The flames consumed the arena, reducing the ground to molten rock.

When the flames subsided, Dracon stood unharmed, his clothes singed but his expression unimpressed.

"That was cute," he said, brushing ash off his shoulder. "What else you got?"

The dragon growled, its massive frame tensing as it took to the air. From above, it unleashed another firestorm, the flames hotter and more intense.

Ding! The Host has unlocked the skill: Fire Resistance (Level 5/10).

Dracon yawned, the flames dancing harmlessly around him. "Is fire all you've got? You're supposed to be a True Dragon."

Enraged, the dragon's scales began to shimmer ominously, and it unleashed a new attack: Space Breath. The air around Dracon distorted, cracks forming in the very fabric of reality as the attack descended.

Dracon's eyes widened briefly. "Interesting."

The attack struck with unparalleled force, the ground shattering beneath him. When the distortion faded, Dracon stood unharmed, his smirk returning.

Ding! The Host has unlocked the skill: Space Resistance (Level 1/10).

"Finally," Dracon said, raising a hand. "Now it's my turn."

With a flick of his wrist, he manipulated the surrounding space, the distortion tearing through the dragon's body. The beast roared in pain as its form began to unravel.

"Good fight," Dracon said, watching as the dragon collapsed in a heap of golden scales.

Ding! Congratulations on clearing the dungeon!

As he exited the dungeon, another portal materialized before him. Jinwoo stepped out, his aura fierce and commanding.

Dracon's smirk returned. "Look who decided to show up."

Jinwoo froze, his eyes narrowing. "Dracon? What are you doing here?"

"Clearing a dungeon. You?" Dracon asked, his tone casual.

Jinwoo hesitated, studying him. "I found an instant dungeon key."

Dracon raised an eyebrow. "Huh. Same here. Looks like we've got some catching up to do."

Jinwoo's eyes sharpened. "You… You're a reincarnator, aren't you?"

Dracon chuckled. "Took you long enough to figure it out. What about you?"

Jinwoo sighed, his expression softening. "Yeah. I guess we've both been keeping secrets."

"Where from?" Dracon asked, genuinely curious.

"Korea," Jinwoo replied. "And you?"

"Japan," Dracon said, crossing his arms. "Saved a girl from getting hit by a car. That's what got me here. You?"

Jinwoo's eyes widened, his jaw dropping. "Wait… Mark? Is that you?"

Dracon's smirk faltered. "Joshua?"

Jinwoo's disbelief turned to a rare smile. "No way. It really is you."

Dracon extended a hand, and Jinwoo clasped it tightly, their grips firm.

"Of all the places to meet again," Dracon said, shaking his head.

"You have no idea," Jinwoo replied, chuckling softly.

Dracon's smirk returned. "So, what now?"

Jinwoo's smile turned mischievous. "Now? We change the world. Together."

Dracon chuckled, his crimson eyes gleaming. "You've got my attention."
