'Dear Mum and Dad,
As I wrote yesterday, I'm honestly not doing too well in Potions. That's okay, I'll catch up.
But since we wrote to you, a lot has happened.
Scott and I are one of the best now. That's what you thought, right?
Can you believe me, Scott and Lydia Martin spelled a match in our first Transfiguration class? Sixty points in one lesson! By the way, we're in contact with Malia now, she's from a Muggle family. I'm helping her with Transfiguration and Scott is helping her with Enchantments. Speaking of which. Guess who learnt levitation the fastest? No, I didn't. I was third. It was Lydia! That girl is unbelievable! Sometimes she can be a little mean, though.
I almost forgot!
Me and this Slytherin upstart had a flying competition yesterday. And guess who won? Stiles won! Now they have to not say a word to the Gryffindors for the rest of the week. How cool is that? I even got a congratulations from the Head Girl.
Anyway, it's incredibly cool. Write, I miss you.
Love you so much
Hugs.
Your Stiles.
P.S. You won't believe who I met! Heather! Heather Austin! I was so excited! She said, Mum, that they'd decided to stay. They live in London now, only now on the other side of town. She sends her love to you.
Love you!'
'Hi, Mum
I've no doubt you and Claudia have already talked over Stiles' letter about ten times.
But still, I still want to congratulate you - your son and his best friend are some of the best.
We've made friends with a muggle-born girl, Malia Tate. She's funny.
But basically, Stiles already told me everything.
Mum, I love you very much.
Your Scott.'
'Hello, Mum.
I'm sorry I couldn't write right away, but there's a reason for that.
I got into the Gryffindor faculty and I'm really glad I did. There are some really nice and interesting people here.
Allison Argent and I have become great friends.
I'm also one of the best on the course. There are two other boys who are on the same level as me. They're really bright: Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall. You kind of know their parents.
Anyway, I'm doing good.
Write to me.
Lydia.'
'Hello, Dad!
I'm doing just fine.
I got into Gryffindor, just like you once did.
I've made friends with two of my fellow students, Lydia Martin and Malia Tate.
Malia's a muggleborn and Lydia's a pureblood. I don't know why, but it's Lydia that I have a closer relationship with.
I'm a good student. The flying is the most magical part! I'm also making visible progress in DADA, or as one of my fellow students says, ZOTS.
That's basically it for now.
I love you very much and miss you.
Allison.'
'Mum, Dad, Livi
This place is incredible!
There are talking portraits and ghosts and moving staircases!
I sometimes feel like if it weren't for my new friends, I would definitely get lost.
I've made friends with Lydia Martin and Allison Argent. They're nice, though Lydia is sometimes rather... peculiar. They're helping me with potions. It's almost like cooking, only in a cauldron and with creepy ingredients.
I've also become friends with Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski. These are the guys that really save me. Stiles is helping me with a class called Defence Against the Dark Arts. We learn all sorts of defence spells against creepy and dangerous creatures and stuff like that.
Scott helps me with my spells. We learn levitation spells and travelling spells and stuff like that.
I think I'm doing okay now.
I miss you guys so much.
Hugs
Your Malia.
P.S.Livy, the ghosts here are kind, don't worry.'
