"Ugh…"
A young man groaned as he opened his eyes, pain coursing through his body. His entire form was riddled with sword wounds, his clothes tattered and soaked in dried blood. He struggled to move, taking in his surroundings—he was inside a hollow tree, hidden away from the outside world.
Memories surfaced in his mind as he tried to recall how he had ended up here.
He saw himself standing at a wedding altar, about to be married. But before the ceremony could be completed, a group of men stormed into the venue, led by none other than the bride's father. Their accusations rang loud and clear—
"He is a demon!"
A battle erupted. In the memory, he saw himself holding back, unwilling to kill his attackers. But they had no such hesitation—they fought to kill.
Then, when his injuries became too severe, a sickly green energy exploded from within him, injuring everyone nearby. Seizing the opportunity, he fled.
In the memory, he saw the gaping wound on his chest, torn open from countless sword strikes. Yet now, as he touched his body, all that remained was a faint scar.
This young man was Rain's new clone.
Originally, Rain had no intention of forming a clone before reaching C-rank, but after obtaining the clone method from Yun Ting, he decided to experiment—and thus, Li Wen was born.
Now, as Rain sifted through Li Wen's memories, he uncovered startling revelations.
Li Wen was born in a place called Demon Source, where he had taken form in this image, fully developed from the moment of his creation. He had never experienced childhood, parental love, or human emotions—for the Demon Realm itself was his parent.
This world was divided into three realms:
Divine Realm
Human Realm
Demon Realm
Rain felt a tinge of envy as he delved deeper into Li Wen's life.
As a Plague Demon, Li Wen never had to cultivate—his strength grew naturally over time. In the Demon Realm, power was determined at birth, and divided into a strict hierarchy:
Demon (lowest)
Big Demon
Great Demon
Source Demon (highest natural-born rank)
However, some demons defied fate, breaking past their limits to become Demon Kings. These beings were monstrous in power, with only seven in existence, each ruling over one of the Seven Desires of demons.
In his memories, Rain saw Li Wen's fascination with the Human Realm. He had heard tales of its splendor from other demons and yearned to experience it for himself.
However, the Human Realm was hostile toward demons. This was because demons of lower ranks had only one way to grow stronger—by feeding on human fear, flesh, and souls.
But Source Demon does not have the carving or need for Human fear, flesh, and souls. And Humans do not care about if he is a Source Demon for them all Demons must be killed.
For these lesser demons, the urge to consume humans was almost impossible to resist.
Despite this, Li Wen roamed the Human Realm and eventually met a young woman named Zhen Yuanzi. Over time, he fell in love with her, suppressing his demonic instincts to be with her.
Understanding that humans feared demons, he patiently courted her. Eventually, they decided to marry.
But Zhen Yuanzi was from a noble family, and her childhood sweetheart—another noble—had joined the Demon Suppression Palace, an elite force responsible for hunting and exterminating demons who infiltrated the Human Realm.
On the day of the wedding, her father and childhood sweetheart arrived, leading an assault on the Demon Suppression Palace.
Their mission was simple—kill him.
After watching the complete memory, Rain gained valuable insight into the cultivation system of the Human Realm.
Human Warrior Realms & Their Power Equivalent
3rd-Rank Warrior → Equivalent to a Mid-Level E-Rank Genetic Warrior
2nd-Rank Warrior → Equivalent to a Late to Peak-Level E-Rank Genetic Warrior
1st-Rank Warrior → Equivalent to a Limit-Level E-Rank Genetic Warrior (with their Spirit Gate open)
Innate Warrior → Equivalent to an Initial D-Rank Genetic Warrior
Meanwhile, a Source Demon was equivalent to a C-Rank Genetic Warrior.
Even though Li Wen was as strong as a C-Rank Genetic Warrior, he had several weaknesses that led to his near-fatal defeat:
Lack of Experience – Unlike warriors who trained through battle, Li Wen was born strong, never having endured hardships or real life-and-death combat. His lack of fighting experience meant he couldn't fully utilize his strength.
Divine Weapons – His attackers wielded magic weapons designed to harm demons, some bestowed by the Gods of the Divine Realm, while others were crafted by humans. These weapons ignored a demon's natural durability, making them far more dangerous than ordinary blades.
Numerical Superiority – He wasn't just fighting one or two opponents—he was outnumbered, with multiple skilled warriors coordinating against him.
Because of these factors, Li Wen was seriously injured, leaving him with no choice but to unleash his plague energy in desperation. The resulting outbreak weakened his attackers, allowing him to barely escape with his life.
As Rain continued analyzing Li Wen's memories, he discovered something intriguing—humans viewed the Divine Realm in the exact opposite way they viewed the Demon Realm.
While demons were feared and hated, the gods were revered and worshipped.
He quickly understood the reason—demons and gods were born as complete opposites.
Demons were born with powers that brought harm to humans. Li Wen's plague abilities were a perfect example—his very existence could spread disease and death among mortals.
Gods, on the other hand, were born with abilities that nurtured and protected life—powers over rain, fertility, love, and other positive forces that benefited humanity.
This stark contrast between creation and destruction, life and decay was what had shaped humanity's devotion to the gods—and their deep-seated hatred of demons.
After fully absorbing Li Wen's memories and assessing his situation, Rain turned his focus inward.
His first action was to connect with his main body, and he immediately noticed a crucial detail—time in this world moved faster than in the Radiation World. Though he couldn't determine the exact difference yet, it was clear that the flow of time between the two worlds was not synchronized.
Then, he noticed something even more alarming—the Soul Continent of this world had disappeared from the Black Weird Ocean.
Originally, he had chosen this world to form his clone because it had recently appeared in the Black Weird Ocean and was the closest world to the Radiation World. However, the moment he dropped his clone into this world, it vanished from the ocean altogether.
At first, he suspected that weirdness had devoured this world, wiping it from existence. But when he checked his soul space, he discovered something unexpected—a new vortex had formed, pulling in his main consciousness.
Before Rain's consciousness fully returned to his main body, he made one final decision—to name this world "Three Realm World."
Then, he closed his eyes.
His main consciousness withdrew, allowing the clone's consciousness to fully dominate the body.
The clone's eyes snapped open.
The first words that left his lips were firm and resolute—
"From now on, I am Li Wen."
With his identity now firmly established, Li Wen turned his thoughts toward his future.
His injuries didn't concern him—demons were notoriously difficult to kill. Unless struck down by a special weapon or artifact, they could regenerate and recover from even the most grievous wounds.
More importantly, as a Source Demon, he was fundamentally immortal—he could never be truly killed, only sealed. His existence was directly tied to his power, and his power was over Plague.
As long as plagues existed in the Human Realm, he could continuously absorb energy from them. Unless the very concept of plague was erased from the world, his life could never be extinguished.
Right now, his priority was to find a secure location where he could recover and fully master his strength.
From Li Wen's memories, he knew he was close to the Ancient Mountain Range—a vast region shrouded in dense miasma, considered uninhabitable and extremely dangerous for humans.
For humans, it was a death trap.
For him, it was the perfect hiding place.
However, reaching the Ancient Mountain Range wouldn't be easy. He needed to travel south and cross the Moon River, a significant natural barrier and the humans chasing after him.
Already a day passed when he climbed inside the tree hole and fell unconscious because of the serious injury and the broken heart.
But now, the humans will not pose much danger to him only slowing down him. He is afraid of the god's in the divine realm, he knows Humans can call upon Gods from the Divine realm for help and some gods hide their identity when they travel to the Human realm.
With his destination set, Li Wen climbed out of the tree hole.
Without hesitation, he began walking south, moving toward the moonlit waters that separated him from his new sanctuary.
