Azure chuckles, crossing his arms. "Well, it's nice to be appreciated. But I'm just doing what needs to be done."
Sira gives him a sidelong glance. "Sure, keep telling yourself that. Just don't get yourself killed out there, all right? We'd miss you."
"Don't worry," Azure says, his grin turning slightly mischievous. "I'm not planning on going anywhere. Not yet, at least."
As Sira walks away, Nexus's voice hums in his mind. "Host, your actions here are not going unnoticed. The Lunari are beginning to see you as an indispensable ally."
"Yeah, well, I'm not here to win popularity contests," Azure mutters under his breath, his gaze drifting back toward the Heartwood.
Azure watches Sira disappear into the crowd, her golden tattoos catching the soft light of the Heartwood's glow. He exhales and mutters to himself, "Now, I should start on that old man's request. Also, I need to check on the Shadewraiths—it's been a month since my last visit."
