"Exactly," Lysara says, her voice tight. "But the Dark Clan is difficult to track. They don't operate openly, and their leader, whoever they are, is a ghost. Finding them would be like chasing shadows."
Azure sits up straight, his expression sharpening. "Then we start with the Dark Clan."
Lysara's brow furrows in confusion. "Why them? They're the most elusive."
He locks eyes with her, his tone calm but firm. "Because we don't know how many enemies you have. It might not just be one clan. If the Dark Clan is the strongest illegal organization, they're bound to be in contact with someone who hates the Rion family—if not directly involved, then as accomplices or hired hands."
