Kov stands in the middle of the crowd, his face grim as he surveys the somber faces of his people. Hara, now become his second-in-command, approaches him, her voice low and laced with a barely contained rage.
"We've never faced anything like that before, Chief," she says, her fists clenched at her sides. "One Grimcrawler… just one… and it cut through us like we were nothing."
Kov nods, eyes narrowing as he recalls the battle. "It wasn't just its strength, Hara. It fought with a kind of intelligence I've never seen in a Grimcrawler. It anticipated our moves, targeted our weakest points. This… this is something else."
Another warrior steps forward, a younger man with fresh cuts lining his arms and a haunted look in his eyes. "They're calling it a 'Slayer,' Chief," he says, voice wavering. "The hunters… they're saying it's like death itself on legs."
