Azure pinches the bridge of his nose, exhaling slowly. "Yeah... just forget I even asked."
"Something on your mind?" Lysara asks, her tone cautious.
Azure shakes his head, offering a small smile. "Just thinking how stubbornly vague people can be when you're trying to get answers. I admire your patience with it."
She huffs a faint laugh, though there's little humor in it. "Patience isn't the word I'd use. It's more desperation."
"Well, desperation has a way of paying off," he says, his tone lighter as he leans back in his chair. "If anyone can figure it out, it's you."
Her gaze softens, a flicker of gratitude passing through her expression. "Thank you. That means more than you know."
Azure straightens in his chair. "You know what? We need a plan. Sitting around waiting for answers isn't going to get us anywhere. If your enemies won't come to you, we'll make them come out of hiding."
