Nexus speaks up, its tone calm and measured. "I'm Azure."
Taryn raises a brow but smiles. "Azure, huh? Fitting name. You have something to do right now?"
Azure shakes his head. "Not really. Why?"
Taryn's grin widens. "That's perfect, then. If you don't have plans, I could use some help with something."
Azure tilts his head, curious. "Help with what?"
Taryn leans back, folding his arms. "It's a bit of a job I've been trying to get done for weeks now. I've been recruiting other Elite Warriors, but they always back out when they hear what it involves."
Azure's intrigue grows. "Sounds serious. What's the job?"
Taryn's expression sobers slightly, though his tone remains steady. "It's about a race called the Kharaksa. They come from the Abyss. Dangerous, relentless, and highly territorial. One of their hives has taken over a village, and it's my job to clear them out."
