"This stone is steeped in mana," Alinar ran his finger over the oily black stone, and sighed. "I think that, even if we defeat the creature, the stone will still be a problem for a very long time."
"The stone is even worse when the water starts flooding the tunnels," Marcellus told them. They hadn't bothered with torches. Instead, used light wisps to guide them.
Soon, they found the fork in the road, yet there was a tentacle trying to crawl through it. Alinar made a fireball in his hand and threw it at the tentacle.
It didn't so much as twitch. The elf looked at the dwarf.
"Master Khubun, have you ever seen such a thing?" Alinar asked.
"Can't say that I have," Khubun rubbed his chin. He rummaged in his bottomless bag and took out a vial with a glowing white liquid.
