Synopsis
Ancient Mysticism had always been one of the most obscure fields of study globally, until that year when humanity discovered the ancient corpses of the Old World gods buried on the Moon. The year when one ancient skeleton after another fell to Earth, so-called science became a joke. Worshippers extolled the names of their gods, burning those who did not revere the divine to ashes, as governments crumbled and those who possessed the godly remains looked down upon everything. In this time of chaos, with cultists rampant, Chen Xiang stood amidst the ruins of order, feeling a chill in his heart: “Fortunately, I was the first to fall.”

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0 The Divine Calendar

**[Afternoon, 15:23]**

"Target 21 has reached the designated location. The 11th test begins."

"The disposable thermonuclear spectral ray fusion generator is ready. All combat personnel are on standby. It is now April 4, 2079, 15:23... Begin!"

An elderly man with silver hair and golden-silver heterochromia solemnly issued the command.

In the massive experimental site, the light suddenly dimmed, and a high-energy light beam, several dozen meters in diameter, surged and struck a cold corpse that spanned thousands of meters.

A temperature explosion of tens of millions of degrees erupted, and the extreme light pressure overshadowed everything, making the world lose color.

**In the experimental site.**

The source of the beam, the mountain carrying the "disposable thermonuclear spectral ray fusion generator," and the generator itself vaporized in an instant.

The ground began to vanish in chunks, replaced by a misty high-temperature plasma.

"Oh my god..."

Someone involuntarily groaned, staring blankly at the enormous corpse that remained unchanged.

**[Afternoon, 16:00]**

"Testing temporarily halted."

The elderly man with heterochromia spoke hoarsely, trembling instinctively; this was tens of millions of degrees!

The armed soldiers swallowed hard, their faces illuminated blue-white by the extreme light from afar. A middle-aged man with a monocle clenched his fist:

"We... are blaspheming the divine."

The elderly man gazed at the ancient corpse, gray-black and floating in superheated plasma, taking a deep breath:

"Can gods die?"

"They can die, but for them, death may just be a state of existence."

The middle-aged man's voice sounded particularly deep.

The elderly man suddenly turned his gaze:

"What do you mean?"

The middle-aged man adjusted his monocle and replied softly:

"According to the latest news, the ancient god remains No. 1 to No. 3... show signs of revival!"

The elderly man trembled violently, exclaiming:

"How is this possible?!"

"What's impossible?" the middle-aged man said somberly. "The *Book of All-Knowledge* reveals that the gods who fell earlier are stronger, and..."

A look of confusion and fear crossed his face:

"The *Book of All-Knowledge* says that the gods will ultimately awaken."

The elderly man opened his mouth, dry and speechless.

After a long moment, he stared at the giant corpse, unharmed by nuclear explosions and high temperatures, softly saying:

"You just mentioned that ancient god remains No. 1 to No. 3 show signs of revival, and the stronger the god, the quicker they wake up, then... what about No. 0?"

No. 1 is not the first fallen corpse; No. 0 is.

The middle-aged man habitually adjusted his monocle, shaking his head:

"No movement at all. The broken sword embedded in No. 0's skull is incredibly mysterious."

"What do you mean?" the elderly man asked.

The middle-aged man hesitated for a moment before saying, confused:

"That sword... is paradoxical; its existence is like a contradiction—it's both light and dark, fire and water, the universe's deepest philosophy... I can't describe it in detail."

The elderly man nodded thoughtfully, then lifted his gaze to the bright sky illuminated by the blue-white plasma, saying:

"By the way, what does the *Book of All-Knowledge* say about No. 21?"

"Death Titan? Terror Giant? Something like that... you know, the information from the *Book of All-Knowledge* is always vague."

"And No. 0?"

"For No. 0... the *Book of All-Knowledge* provided four words: *Emperor Titan*, *Reality*, *Essence*, and... *The Greatest*."

After a pause, the middle-aged man suddenly asked:

"If the gods truly awaken, what do you think our blasphemy should be punished for?"

The elderly man closed his golden-silver heterochromatic eyes, smiled:

"By the time they awaken? I fear I will have long since died. Although this place is far enough from the experimental site and we've taken protective measures, the superhigh-energy radiation released by those plasmas can still affect us..."

Saying this, he felt a bit melancholic:

"I may never see the day the gods awaken..."

Just then, the middle-aged man seemed to sense something, gently tapping his monocle, his pupils visibly contracting in shock.

"What's wrong?" the elderly man frowned.

The middle-aged man stared at the scene reflected in his monocle from an infinite distance, speechless:

"No. 0... the broken sword on No. 0's head is loosening... no, no, it's falling off, the sword is about to fall off!!!"

**[Afternoon, 16:08]**

"That broken sword... has fallen."

As soon as he finished speaking, a blinding light struck his face, far surpassing the light emitted by the high-temperature plasma formed by the destruction of atomic structures at tens of millions of degrees.

The middle-aged man shielded his eyes, while the elderly man braved the extreme light, looking back.

"Oh god..."

The elderly man murmured, locking eyes with the terrifying giant that stood thousands of meters tall.

His beautiful, signature golden-silver heterochromatic pupils were burned by the blinding light.

...

"According to the United Nations' research, April 4, 2079, at 16:08 is officially designated as Year 1, Month 1, Day 1 of the Divine Calendar."

From the seat of the United Nations Secretary-General, the elderly man with golden-silver heterochromia announced:

"Therefore, this year will no longer be 2082 AD, but..."

"Year 3 of the Divine Calendar."
