In the forest filled with huge tall trees and grass covered ground were two lads, they were walking through the grass which were up to three feet tall.
"At least can you tell me where you're taking me?, we've been walking through this disgusting thing that keeps slicing into my skin for hours now", Shinra complained.
"You have your ninja outfit lon so there's no way the grass can touch your skin", Hayate said without looking at the white haired boy.
"It's my body ok?", Shinra yelled, "now where are we going? I don't think there's any destination at all".
"There is, I just haven't found the perfect spot ", Hayate continue moving forward.
" What!!!? Geez you are not serious", Shinra yelled with a finger point at Hayate, less than a second later his expression changes," I'm really hungry right now ", he held his stomach.
" You are a ninja, Shinra, can't you live for days without food? ", Hayate stopped and gazed at Shinra through his shoulder.

*Hmm* " fight you say? I have gone through your data records and you still have zero kill in every mission you have undertake, yet you speak of fighting ", Hayate said and started walking away.
" (Geez how did he?) ", Shinra was dumbfounded," (alright, I'll show him never to bad mouth me)", Shinra started walking through the grass.
They got to an area with no trees, little grasses and few boulders, on the side was a waterfall.
"This will do", Hayate said.
*Um* "(man this guy is confusing)", Shinra frown, " can I eat now?", Shinra ask with a grin.
"Shinra? What is reiketsu ?", Hayate ask.
*Huh* "(geez, are we seriously doing this? I'm starving and he's here asking me a silly question *arr*)", Shinra was annoyed as he furrow his eyes.
Hayate then turn to face him, "I asked a question, Shinra".
"Well, it is an energy used to create technique", Shinra answered with his hand on his chin, "exactly", he nod in affirmation, "(now he's going to give me my noodles since I've answered, that's right)".
"Did you even went to the academy? Cuz you seem dumber than I thought", Hayate said sincerely and Shinra felt like a boulder was thrown at him," the reason we are here is because we will be doing some exercises concerning reiketsu ", Hayate placed the canned noodles on a little rock.
Shinra's eyes were locked on it as Hayate placed it there," if this is some kinda exercise then why are Sora, Kaguya and ducky not here as well, why just the both of us and why do we have to walk a good distance away from them? ", Shinra crossed his hands on his chest.
" Well for one, the others don't need this exercise as they already know about fifty percent or more about reiketsu, and you on the other hand, is still far from scratching a percent of it... And two, you are impatient and impulsive so you might easily get distracted, now does that answer your questions? ", Hayate ask.
" (Geez, not the kinda answer I was expecting, this guy just like running me over)".
" Now let's begin, reiketsu is a type of energy which is locked in the soul, once it's been unlocked it can be used in different forms, like enhancing physical and spiritual growth, and for you to enhance this growth you most train your body, mind and soul ".
" (Now he's starting lecturing me, great, I just hope this doesn't go on for hours like Captain Kai)", Shinra frown.
" Today I'll teach you the use of reiketsu ", Hayate said.
" Really? If that's it then don't bother, Captain Kai has tried to do that numerous times but I keep falling even when I try everything he ask me to do ", Shinra informed *hmm* he pout and look away.
" (Captain Kai? He must be talking about Kusumi)", Hayate thought, "it seems like he tried all he could ", Hayate was staring at Shinra," and I will make sure his effort doesn't go to waste".
*Um* Shinra look up at him and let his hands drop to his side, "and how are you going to do that?", Shinra ask quietly.
"I will show you, but first... You have to close your eyes", Hayate said.
*Oh* " ok", Shinra closed his eyes," (idiot, asking me to close my eyes when I have other senses)" *hehehe* Shinra laugh.
" What's funny? ", Hayate questioned.
" Nothing nothing ", Shinra grin a little.
*Hm* Hayate closed his eyes as well," (tengen!)", with his eyes closed he was able to see into Shinra's system, on his heart was a few strings with blue fluid, there were also a mix of red in it *oh* "I see, just as I expected", Hayate said.
"What's that sensei?", Shinra ask not opening his eyes.
"It's nothing much", Hayate open his onyx eyes and stare down at Shinra, "you can open your eyes now".
Shinra open them and stare up at the kōjin, "(for a second his reiketsu flare up, what was he doing? I couldn't hear him moving)".
"I think I have solved our little problem".
"Really? But how?".
"I was able to see into your soul with my tengen eyes".
"Tengen eyes? What's that? I thought you only have cosmic eyes?", Shinra was confused.
"Not at all, cosmic eyes is a nickname I earn because of my tengen", Hayate explain.
*Hmm* "this is a bit confusing", Shinra cock his head to the side and frown in confusion.
"There's no need to be confused, we have to work on your reiketsu".
" Ok".
" Do you know you have two different types of reiketsu? ".

" Yes, there are different types of reiketsu, like the elementary reiketsu, wind, fire, lava, earth, water, mist, then others like shadow, puppetry and so on".
*Wow* " I didn't even know reiketsu has types, that's awesome ", Shinra seem excited," so what is your reiketsu type?".
"It's wind".
"What about your eyes?".
"That, I was born with it", Hayate answer.
"Cool", Shinra gave a close eye smile *huh* what about Sora and the others?", Shinra ask with curiosity filling his eyes.
"I thought you knew after the explanation".
"Maybe, let's see" *hmm* he placed his hands on his chin and was in thought, "Sora has animal type reiketsu, Kaguya a medicine type reiketsu and Shinokaze a... He has four reiketsu?", Shinra scream in horror.
"(I knew he was going to overreact )" *Huff* Hayate sigh.
"Hey sensei, how come you had only wind type reiketsu and Shinokaze has both wind, earth, fire and water? Is that even possible?".
"Yeah, that's what set the Hoshino clan aside from others, luckily you have two and we need to work on finding your reiketsu type".
" Alright, let go! ".
"(He seems really determined, I like that, still, it's not going to be easy separating his reiketsu and yumiryoku)".
" Hey sensei... Can I at least eat something before we proceed? ", Shinra gave him a cute eye smile.
" No", Hayate answer flatly.
*Ah!* Shinra cried out in frustration.

Shinra was now shirtless, his body was muscular from all his hard training yet there was not a single scratch or scar on him, he was standing low with his legs widely apart and slightly bent, his hands were together forming a sign and his eyes were closed.
"Remember, you have two type of reiketsu and they are intertwined with each other, if you can separate this two then lots of techniques will be unlocked for you", Hayate said, he was sitting on a boulder eating chips.
"(Separate this two reiketsu, easier said, it's like my own reiketsu is fighting against me)", he then sniff the air, "(and my nose keeps catching the scents of the chips Hayate sensei is eating)", Shinra frown," hey sensei, can you please stop doing that already", Shinra open his eyes and stood properly.
" What? ", Hayate continue eating.
" You know? With the chips, my sense are intense can't you see that my nose can't stop perceiving the delightful smell and my ears can hear your teeth crushing them? I need to concentrate or I'll fail to separate my reiketsu ", Shinra said in frustration.
*Oh* " you mean this", Hayate placed another chip in his mouth.
*Ah!!* " You're still doing it ", Shinra point accusingly at the kōjin
"Can't you shut your senses and focus?", Hayate ask cockily.
"I can't do that, it's been like this since I was born, it's not something you can turn on and off", Shinra yelled.
" Same with my eyes, I can activate and deactivate it anyway and anytime, your senses are aligned with your reiketsu, so take your mind and thoughts from your heightens senses and focus on what matter the most, your reiketsu ", Hayate said.
"*Hmm* "fine I'll give it my all", Shinra return to his former stance with his eyes closed and his hands made a sign, "(focus on your reiketsu only... Focus Shinra... You've got this)", sweat run down his face.
