Chapter 9 - She is the devil's woman

"Raven I can't see... I can't see everything is black!!! " she shouted and Tears began to gush out of her eyes.....

Raven started breathing heavily , scared to death after hearing what Amber said.

"Milady what do you mean ? " He asked.

"Are you deaf ?! I said I can't see!! Darkness is all I am seeing right now!!! " Amber snapped angrily.

Raven started having bad thoughts of how the king was going to execute him once he finds out what happened.

"Milady please you promised that I wouldn't get in trouble please I don't want to get killed by the king " Raven plead.

"So do you expect me to keep quiet and pretend like I can see when I can not ?!! "

"Amber what did you say ?!!! "

Raven and Amber's heart skipped a beat when they heard chief North's voice from behind them.

"Dad ? "

Chief North stormed towards them with two guards behind him , he looked really furious.

He squat down Infront of Amber and held her shoulder's.

"Did you just say you can't see ?! " Chief North asked but his daughter , Amber remained quite.

"Amber answer me!! " He yelled and Amber Shaked in fear before bursting into tears.

"Dad it ...it Raven's fault he brought this upon me " Amber said between her tears , Raven's was beyond shock, he was speechless by the words that came out of Amber's mouth.

"Chief N...."

Chief North glared furiously at him and he instantly kept his mouth shut and hang his head with shame.

"What did he do to you ? " Chief North asked.

" He said he was going to help me go to Earth , cause he wanted me to become the queen then he brought me to the portal room...dad that how I lost my sight I can't see again " Amber lied , she looked really pitifully as she was crying.

"Raven how could you bring her to the portal?! " Chief North yelled.

"Chief North she is lying she made me...."

SLAP!!

Chief North slapped him hard across his face, the slap was a heavy and painful one cause Chief North's handprint appeared on his face.

"You take him to the dungeon , lock him up there and you go and get me the Healer " Chief North ordered the two guards and they immediately did what he asked them to.

Chief North helped Amber up and he careful lead her to her room , he helped her lay on the bed as they waited for the Healer.

"Amber I am highly disappointed in you " Chief North said and Amber bit her lower lip with guilty.

"I'm sorry dad , I was just tempted when he offered to help me go to earth , if I had known I wouldn't have foolishly believed him now see what happened to me , what if I never regain my eye sight "

Chief North's hard stone heart upon seeing his only child break down , he sighed and sat right next to her.

"It okay I am sure the Healer will help regain your sight " Chief North said and stroke her hair.

There was a knock on the door before the door was pushed opened , And a woman stepped in , she was dressed in a white beautiful robe , her long beautiful white hair flowed freely.

"Good day Chief North and Lady Amber " The girl said and bowed her head.

"Why are you here ? Where is Healer Sonia ? " Chief North asked.

"My apologies Chief North but Healer Sonia herself is not feeling well , I am Healer and I have been with Healer Sonia for years now I am sure I can be of help " The girl said.

"It my daughter she went into the portal room and lost her sight " Chief North said.

The girl dropped her wooden bag that had all sought of medicine on the bed and went to Amber side.

" Will She be able to see once she wakes up ? " Chief North asked.

"I am afraid not , The herbs I gave her were only going to make her rest and put her mind at ease " The girl said and Chief North instantly looked angry.

"You useless Healer!! , What is your name ?! I will make sure I have you beheaded "

For some reasons the girl seemed clam she picked up her wooden bag and smiled at Chief North.

" My name is Echo, Chief North even if you have me beheaded or you get other Healers your daughter still wouldn't regain her sight , the portal was in it resting period when she went to it and it decided to punish her by taking her eyes , you know the Portal shouldn't be disturbed during it resting period " Echo said and Chief North instantly became pale.

"Only King Hardin can regain her sight , no one else can apart from him , I will take my leave now " Echo said and bowed respectfully before she stepped out.

Chief North fell on his butt , his eyes remained on his daughter that was sleeping peacefully.

He didn't want Hardin to know anything about what happened cause he knew that he could punish Amber but it seems like he had no Choice , Hardin has to know if he wants his daughter to ever regain her sight.

< DEVIL'S CLAN >

Cat looked really angry and jealous, she had been with Hardin for years , warming his bed day and Night but he had never for once called her his woman.

And now he was calling Sofina who just miraculously came into the clan a month ago his woman!!!

It made her so Angry that she felt the urge to Strangle Sofina straight to death.

Sofina on the other hand couldn't help but blush.

"So will you say what you have to say or will you leave ? "

"The bloody sinners is now been ruled by Stone , the spy we placed in the Bloody sinners contacted us this morning and told us " Cat said and Hardin chuckled.

"That Stone is really a pain in the butt , it not my fault that he didn't get to be the king " Hardin mumbled.

"Is that all ? " He asked and Cat nodded positively.

"You may leave " Hardin said and she stepped out immediately, Hardin turned his gaze to Sofina who was still blushing cause Hardin called her his woman.

" You need to stop acting pitifully and innocent , the clan members won't take you seriously and won't Respect you "

"Why do they need to respect me ? I don't even like being here in the first place " Sofina said.

"Well you have no choice , you are my bride and you have to be by my side , I will be Attending a party tonight , I need you to be in your best behavior cause you are my date to the party "

Sofina felt her heart Tighten a bit in her Chest upon hearing his words.

"Party? Are other Mafia bosses and drug Lords going to also be at the party ? "

"Yes " Hardin answered.

She really didn't want to Associate with dangerous and blood thirsty people like them.

She knew Hardin wasn't going to take No for an answer so she didn't bother to say anything.

"Can I go home today ? I miss my brother , I promise to come back before the party begins " Sofina voice came out low , she was Afraid that he was going to say "NO".

"Yh you can go, I will send someone to come and get you " Hardin said and a beautiful smile appeared on her face.

"I won't , Thanks so much " She thanked him.

Hardin wasn't about to snap his finger to make her disappear but she quickly stopped him.

"Mm , My brother will get suspicious if I just keep appearing in my room, I will go home by Cab " She muttered and got down from his lap.

"Alright then " He said and picked up the book he was reading before Sofina stepped in.

Sofina stepped out of his study room happily and joyfully.

Pearl was stuffing her mouth with chocolate when a girl walked towards her.

"Hi " The girl greeted her with a smile.

"Hi , do I Know you ? " Pearl asked , the girl Infront of her looked kinda of Familiar.

"Hmm , I am the girl from the Cafeteria the one your friend saved from Cindy's evil claw , my name is Emory by the way " The girl introduced herself and stretch out her Hand for a handshake.

"Oh...no wonder you look familiar, Nice to meet you Emory , you can call me Pearl " Pearl said and accepted her handshake.

"I was hoping your friend would be with you , isn't she around ? "

"Yeah , she is isn't feeling too well at the moment " Pearl answered.

"So sorry about that , can i sit here if you don't mind "

"Not at all , feel free I was getting bored sitting alone " Pearl said And Emory smiled then sat next to Pearl.

Oliver and Owen stepped into the class and the girls started screaming at the top of their lungs as usual.

The two boys walked towards Pearl , Emory immediately stood up and left the class when her eyes met with that of Oliver's.

"Hi pearl " Owen said and Pearl smiled at him.

"I need a tiny favour from you can you please give this to Sofina , I would really appreciate if you can do this for me "

"Sure I will give it to her when I drop by her house today or tomorrow " pearl said and Accepted the red packaged box from Owen.

"Thanks " Owen thanked her then walked out with Oliver.

Pearl stared at the box strangely , Wondering what was in it.

< CINDY'S MANSION >

"How are you feeling now ? "Penny asked.

She came to pay Cindy a visit , the two were currently sitting on Cindy's bed.

"I am feeling bad , I thought my parents were going to get that Sofina girl expelled but my dad refused , he had always giving me whatever I wanted , this is the first time he said no to me " Cindy said and Penny Sigh.

"Couldn't it be that something is going on between your dad and Sofina ? " Penny said and Cindy placed her hand on her chin .

"You might actually be right , he looked kinda of worried when mom showed him Sofina's picture even mom noticed it and she is suspicious of him "

"Sofina is really a b**ch , she has no shame at all we have to deal with her " Penny said.

"How are we going to do that ? "

"I have an idea , this will certainly put that b**ch where she belongs " Penny said and Cindy smirked.

< SOFINA'S HOME 8 : 40 PM >

Sofina and Max had dinner already and both sister and brother went to their rooms .

Sofina careful and quietly opened her door , she tiptoed out of the house and shut the door silently.

A car was already waiting for her outside , she walked towards it opened the door and got into it almost immediately the engine of the car was brought live and the car zoomed off.

Max who was standing by his window had a confused expression on his face , he saw Sofina got into the car.

"What is she up to this days ? " He muttered worriedly and picked up his phone from the bed.

FEW HOURS LATER ~ GOLDEN HOTEL

The hotel party hall was filled with people , chatting and drinking wine.

Soft and gentle music were playing from the speaker.

The hall Door opened and all heads turned to see the guests head turned to see who was coming in.

Some of them gasped upon seeing Hardin dressed handsomely in his black tuxedo, his hair was styled stylish and beside him was a beauty that they had never seen.

She was putting on a long wine dinner gown that looked beautiful on her , she had light make up on and her hair was packed to a neat bun.

On her feet was a expensive sliver heel , her neck and ears were adore with set of diamond necklace, earrings and Bracelets.

...SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL...

...OH MY GOSH, HER SKIN IS LITERALLY GLOWING...

Sofina felt uncomfortable receiving comments from almost everyone , she hated the attention.

Hardin noticed it and placed his hand on her waist as they walked in.

"Wait here I will be right back " Hardin whispered into Sofina's ear and walked away , going to where only God knows.

Sofina could still feel some people eyes on her and it made her more Nervous .

"Do you care for a drink miss ? " The waiter who was standing beside her with a tray of Alcoholic drinks asked.

Sofina noticed that everyone in the party seemed to be holding a glass of wine , she decided to pick the glass with the white wine, just as to blend in.

She took a sip out of the white wine and Surprisingly it tasted sweet so she drank it all in one gulp and took another glass form the waiter.

This time around she was sipping the wine.

A man suddenly walked up to her and dragged her into his arm. Sofina gasped , frighten by the sudden behavior.

"What your name beautiful ? " The man asked.

"Please let me go " Sofina pleaded, hoping he releases her but instead he held her wrist more tightly than before .

"I asked you a question beautiful now answer me!! " The man Yelled.

Sofina immediately started getting scared , she knew no one here apart from Hardin and he was no where to be found he left her all alone in the midst of hungry wild wolfs.

The man was getting angry cause Sofina refused to talk , he found it humiliating so he slapped her.

The impact from the slap was heavy one and it made Sofina lost her balance and fall on the floor.

He pulled her by her without Mercy and he started dragging her around the hall ,like a piece of rag.

Sofina was crying in pain , her scalp was hurting a lot cause he was ruthlessly dragging around with her hair.

She started scratching his hand hoping he leaves her hair but it was fruitless it was as if the man didn't feel pain at all.

The other guests watched not bother to help Sofina , they just watched the man drag Sofina around.

"Please stop!!! " Sofina begged him but the man grinned evily.

He released her hair roughly , making sure he used her head to hit the marble tiles after he released her hair.

Blood started rushing out of her forehead and she started getting dizzy.

" B**ch , Will you tell me what your name is now ? " The man asked and Signal to his guards to drag her up on her feet.

Sofina head was throbbing seriously , the guards grip on her hands weren't nice at all , they Gripped her arms tightly.

The man cupped Sofina's face with his right hand.

"Answer me " He said glaring hard at her.

Hardin appeared into the hall and the guests cleared the path for him , the guards who were both holding Sofina's hand fell dead on the floor and Hardin caught Sofina before she could fall.

He carried her in a bridal style in his Arms, Sofina wrapped her hands around his neck and buried her face in his chest.

The man frowned upon seeing that his Guards were dead and the strange thing was that nobody touched them.

"Who are you ? What did you do to them ?! " The man yelled.

Hardin supported Sofina who was in his Arm with his left hand , he brought out a Gun and pointed it directly at the man forehead.

The man started shivering fearfully.

"Who gave you the f**king Right to hurt my woman ?! " Hardin yelled and everyone flinched fearfully , they all could feel the deadly Aura ozzing from Hardin.....
