*Chapter Five: The Keeper of Secrets*
Abigail faced the mysterious figure, her heart pounding. The moon cast eerie shadows on his face.
"Who are you?" Abigail demanded.
"I am Silas, the guardian of this road," he replied, his voice low and mysterious. "And you, Abigail, are a curious soul."
Silas's eyes seemed to hold ancient secrets. Abigail sensed he knew more about her family's legacy than he revealed.
"What secrets do you keep?" Abigail asked.
Silas smiled. "The enamel road holds many. But one secret stands above the rest: the Legacy's true purpose."
Abigail's determination grew. "Tell me."
Silas led Abigail down the winding road. The air thickened with an otherworldly energy.
At the road's end, a hidden chamber revealed ancient artifacts and mysterious symbols.
Now in front of the chamber they lies a mysterious statu before them,with fear Abigail cried out "oh my Good lord" she almost fall as Silas held her and said this is just the tip of it,if you ain't that prepared enough this is your chance to back out now
Abigail took a deep breath and said I'm for whatever let's go in..... Silas brought out a knife, Abigail in shock took few steps back and asked "please what's going on,will I die by the gates of this chamber before I even take a look inside? Silas smiled and said" No dear this is a most do,you have to leave a few drops of blood by the gates before you can be allowed to enter....with out it the chamber won't answer to you. Then Abigail asked what if the chamber didn't open even after you spill a blood Silas : that could only mean one thing, Abigail: Which is?? Silas could already sense the fear in her voice, answer me please Abigail pleaded.
Silas said it could only mean that you ain't blood related to the family, you have no place here!.
