I thought it would be better to include an auxiliary chapter to help you understand the world a little better and add some things that I didn't have the chance to explain and/or I only thought about later.
(Note: Most parts of what I will explain in this chapter applies to all my stories, but I will also add this to the others)
Things about the world:
1. In this world, everyone can Awaken a class, but not everyone has a good class for Hunter service, so many people just work normally.
2. There are three types of danger, Rifts, Demonic Beasts and Beast.
3. There are places where fifteen year olds go to train and learn how to use their skills efficiently called Academies, this takes time and patience, untrained hunters are legally prohibited from joining a guild, but the guild itself can run events that help new Hunters and can also sponsor Hunters they see potential.
4. The Level Up System has been replaced by a Rank Up System, Instead of counting by Level, characters will be counted by ranks that will change depending on their status.
5. Modern society, so there will be cell phones, computers and the internet, even if this isn't mentioned much at first.
The empires:
The Golden Empire - It is the strongest empire of the four, it is located in the north and not as developed compared to the other empires.
It is also the empire with the greatest diversity of races, the emperor is an old man, calm and fair, but at the end of his life, the battle for the throne is about to begin.
The Silver Empire - Considered the most developed empire, the Silver Empire of the South it's composed mainly of humans, but is considered the second most visited empire because of its festivals and technology events.
It is the only empire whose crown is only passed on to women, the empress plans to retire once her granddaughter finishes her studies, said granddaughter is eager to become empress, as she has trained her whole life for it, but not so eager for the the marriage proposals that would come when she assumed the throne.
The Bronze Empire - The largest producer of non-food goods among them all, the Bronze Empire of the east is rich in artisans and musicians, is known as the heart of entertainment and commerce and is home to the largest community of humans, dwarves, and the rat tribe of the Beastfolk.
The empress is somewhat questionable, but efficient, so many trust her, well, as long as her husband can control her.
The Copper Empire - The world's largest food producer is known for its grand celebrations, warm welcomes and beautiful beaches, there's no place more visited than the Copper Empire of the west.
The emperor is someone who doesn't fit in with festivities, but he wasn't one to cut off other people's entertainment, so he preferred to leave the people to their parties and pop in every now and then to show appreciation for them.
The people know this and respect the emperor's ways, especially when the emperor is married to the society butterfly of the Four Empires, making palace parties all too frequent for his short social battery.
Social classes:
Emperors and Empresses - Highest political authority, all decisions of nobles must be approved by them
Nobles - All empires have between one to four noble families for each rank, from baron to duke.
The duty of the noble families is to take care of the various parts of the territory and assist the emperor in taking care of the empire and its citizens.
Citizens - Pay taxes and live their day to day lives normally, society generally functions like the modern world, only with a bit more power from the noble side the deal.
The Academies:
The Academies are located in the center of the land as a form of forced exchange.
Not all academies focus on training Hunters, but all will help Awakened ones control and learn more about their abilities, as well as facilitate sponsorship of aspirants and promotion of their nation, even though status has no real value within them.
The Hunters:
The Hunters' job is to protect the nation from Demonic Beasts and Beasts and enter Rifts to destroy them, as well as collect useful materials within them.
All Hunters are part of a guild, whether it is famous or not, there they get jobs, requests and commissions depending on their rank in the guild.
The Ranks:
The ranks are divided from F to SSS, each with its proper designation and are used to classify most things in the world.
F - Low level of the Low grade.
E - Middle level of the Low grade
D - Hight level of the Low grade
C - Low level of the Middle grade
B - Middle level of the Middle grade
A - High level of the Middle grade
S - Low level of the Hight grade
SS - Middle level of the Hight grade
SSS - Hight level of the Hight grade
Hunters start as F rank when they enter the guild, and gradually move up the ranks.
Products are ranked according to their quality and efficiency.
Creatures are ranked according to their Demonic or Life energy radiation.
Creatures:
Demonic Beasts - Wild and uncontrollable, there have been cases of people trying to tame Demonic Beasts, usually demons, but their Demonic energy is so strong and intoxicating that not even they can do such a thing, even if in your home reality it was possible.
Beasts - They produce Life energy that only elves can easily sense, they are extremely aggressive towards strangers and few have the ability to speak or are intelligent enough to do so peaceful interactions, that's why they are commonly confused with Demonic Beasts.
Races:
The races are quite varied, with dwarves, elves, fae, beast folk of various types, and many others.
Rifts:
Rifts are fissures formed by large concentrations of Life or Demonic energy that can contain both resources and dangers, so it's always a good idea to be careful.
