Aldric felt embarrassed for a long time because of Anna's words even though the woman had gone far away.
He scratched his head as he thought about why he had gone to such lengths.
A smile like that could practically be considered a seduction in a woman's eyes.
Was he seducing Anna?
What if it made her feel tempted in the head?
He shook his head quickly just thinking about it.
"No, no, that's not possible," he said.
Only, he then remembered how Anna had treated him while on the trip.
This also gave him a headache when he thought about it.
