They hide together behind the bushes. While Abby's spooky eyes were watching cautiously at Duri, Annie was flashing a conflicted glare at Abby.
"Why do you keep running away from him? It's not like you guys aren't going to pump on each other after this." Said Annie.
"I can't. He was at my wedding." With a wilt look, she dictated.
Shock rented Annie's face and was quick enough to transmit into a sneer, mocking, "You got married the very next week as soon as your crush rejected you. Also, you didn't even marry that ugly man but intended to run away with the handsome man."
Annie burst into laughter thinking about Abby's current situation.
Abby flared a piercing look at her, declaring in a serious tone, "Do you want to go to a to a Karaoke party today or not?"
"Party?"
Annie pulled an excited reaction and gawped. "Do you have money?"
A proud and ambiguous smile was born on Abby's lips as she tugged out the black card from her pocket and exposed it to Annie's happy face, who contemplated it like a treasure.
"Wow!" Annie's jaw dropped. "Did your contract husband give it to you?"
"No!" She said. Her broad smile disclosed her brazenness.
Annie's surprise faded away. "Then?"
"I stole it," Abby giggled.
"You thief!" Annie playfully chided her.
"Let's go!" Abby said and left.
"Wait for me!" Annie shouted and followed her.
"Abby?"
Someone confusingly shouted her name as Abby walked enthusiastically along the campus.
Abby casually responded to that voice, "Hmm?" She even veered around and exposed her face.
Annie also threw her gaze to that side.
To her misfortune, it turned out to be Duri.
"Oh moh!" Abby gave an exhausted face, turned around instantly, and started to run.
"Abby!" Duri shouted her name and ended up with disgruntlement since she had already reached the gate. Then, his eye rolled to Annie, who was trying to sneak away by planting her feet gently on the ground.
Not to delay, she precipitated an embarrassed smile and stopped walking right away. But when Duri lifted his feet to step forward towards her, she also started to run away.
Duri sighed out of frustration.
Abby and Annie stepped inside the karaoke room and winked at each other with a smile. Annie locked the door; Abby reached for Mick and turned on the music.
They began to rock with their vocal strength. If anyone heard their voice from outside, it wouldn't be surprising for them to feel nausea. They were perfectly terrible in vocals.
"Why are we at this restaurant? I have a card only." Steven informed his secretary, Lavi, giving a disapproval glance around that small, non-AC restaurant where the bulbs were even flickering with poor electricity.
Levi got seated, declaring, "I don't know yet. Our client asked me to book this restaurant." He paused for a moment, observing Steven's discomfort, and he called him, "But boss!"
"Hmm?" Steven switched his innocent gaze to him.
"This is one of the restaurants that is running under our company."
"What?!"
Steven's eyes widened in surprise. He then offered another checking stare, only to find how poor their maintenance was.
"Why is this like this? Are they eating all the money without spending on restaurant maintenance?" Asked Steven. Yet, his disbelief mind refused to digest the reality.
"We should ask the maintenance service team." Said Levi.
"Email them to meet me tomorrow," Steven ordered right away and took some pictures of that restaurant.
The client came and sat next to them.
Night approached the city. The clock ticked at 7:00 pm.
Abby and Annie came out of the karaoke room. Their reddish cheeks and often blinking eyes indicated they were fully drunken. They got a hold of each other and proceeded to walk-stumbled along the hallway as the passerby's disgusted eyes were judging them. However, they managed to reach the street.
"Bye!" Annie waved her hand at Abby, who was getting on the bus with the help of a stranger.
That stranger even sat next to Abby as Abby leaned her head back on the seat to sleep and began to snore.
That earned a squick from him. "Eww!"
However, his leer landed on Abby's fair front neck shoulder.
He licked up the corner of his lips, starving for sex, before reaching for her neck.
Unfortunately, her snore grew bigger and bigger, which disturbed everyone on the bus.
That stranger instantly distanced himself from her and sat on another seat, sighing disappointedly.
Everyone's revulsed gaze was at Abby, who was still snoring loudly as if she owned the bus.
At the restaurant, Steven and Levi sent off the client, offering a kind smile with a handshake.
Thereafter, they went over the counter. Steven inserted his hand inside his coat pocket only to find nothing. His shocked eyes checked his pocket once again.
"What?" Levi was confused and terrified because he had no money.
"My card..." Steven barely spoke. His lips only moved, and his attention was brought to him to remember where he lost his black card.
His anxiety turned into anger as soon as he remembered Abby had stolen his card from his coat pocket when she was handing back the old dress.
A broad sigh escaped his lips.
Acknowledging there was something wrong, Levi kept giving an embraced smile at the cashier, who was waiting for the payment.
"She stole it!" Steven said it in words and sighed angrily.
"Who?" Levi questioned with a panicked expression.
At that time, Abby crossed Steven's angrily boiling sight line. "It's her!" He said and rushed outside and gripped her by her hair.
"Boss!" Levi shouted and followed him but got blocked by one of the waiters.
"Pay before leave!" The cashier warned him.
Levi sighed helplessly, looking at Steven, checking Abby's shirt pocket, while Abby was scrutinising his eyes to recognise him.
His finger got a touch of a card, pulled it out, and turned around to head inside the restaurant.
Abby pinched Steven's ear.
"Ahh!!...."
He groaned and grasped her wrist. His tight grip sent a warning, "Stop it!"
She released him, shouting angrily, "Where are you going, leaving your wife standing in the middle of the street?"
"W-wife?"
Levi choked up.
