Chapter 4 - Chapter 3 -[F*ck RON!]

Good thing that her favorite color was green.

Every morning when she woke up she always saw the same green curtains, when she went down to the common room she saw the same greenish reflection, when she looked in the mirror she saw her green eyes matching the green uniform.

She was disappointed in the attitude of the people. Disappointed in herself.

On the second day at Hogwarts, she wrote a letter to her parents telling them the news and asking about them, and in response, she received the same rejection as always. They did not even deign to answer when she saw that her brothers received letters from time to time.

Time flew by for Skuld, and it was already October when the news reached her that they would be flying on broomsticks.

But that same day the problems finally came to her.

She knew that being away from the world she was going to have a problem anyway.

With Skuld, if something could go wrong, it would happen in every possible way.

It all began when she received a note from a Gryffindor student who she thought was called Oliver Wood, captain of the Quidditch team, where her head of house summoned her to his office.

Of course, no one would imagine that the potions professor would blame her for having bewitched Pansy Parkinson and punished her with no Quidditch classes, since perhaps he thought that being a Weasley, that she loved Quidditch with her life.

Surprise, another thing she didn't share with them. She liked sports, yes, but not to be on a team and spend hours sweating while chasing a ball.

So there she was, in potions class doing an essay for Professor Snape.

The professor, he always looked at his left forearm unconsciously. As if he saw through the fabric of his black clothes.

And that's something Snape made no effort to hide. She would find out certain things at some point, but in the meantime, she must not hide from a young eleven-year-old redhead who reminded her horribly of a tragic love.

'is that what our daughter would have been like if we had ended up together?'

'Redhead, green eyes, somewhat cold attitude at times, intelligent, slightly hooked but cute nose.'

Questions that remained in the air for the greasy-haired man.

Painful unanswered questions.

" I'm done, Professor Snape " The girl handed him the parchment with a round and somewhat clumsy handwriting.

" You can leave, Li... Weasley."

He almost missed it. He almost repeated that name that brought back so many memories, and with it pain.

Skuld had never considered running away from home more than she did at that very moment.

She saw her older twin brothers laugh, be happy, have affection every day.

She also saw her older brother Percy fulfill his dreams of being a prefect, one of the best students, knowing that his brothers and parents love him.

And lastly, there was Ron. Ron was her twin brother, why did she once hear him talking to his friend that only was Ginny was sister?

He had a good friend, the friend that many dream of, the great Harry Potter.

And he also now had this slightly repellent girl called Hermione Granger.

Why couldn't she receive the love she gave?

She had always been there for her siblings, for her parents, for everyone around her.

But no one was there for her.

As soon as Professor Snape passed the roll call to find out who was staying for the winter holidays, she did not hesitate to write her name, even knowing that she would be the only Slytherin other than a certain Jeremiah Reed who was staying.

She wouldn't necessarily meet her brothers at Hogwarts.

She shook her head, pushing away strange thoughts.

She would not lower herself to spend Christmas with her parents and sister, she did not want to feel pain from rejection again and be looked at with indifference.

She could get used to many things, but the pain of thinking that just existing was wrong haunted her.

Oh, Skuld Weasley had too many doubts and insecurities with every step she took.

She believed she gave her all for people who didn't deserve it.

Why keep trying to be a good daughter if they didn't even remember you?

And there she was, with those thoughts running through her little orange head and an old wizard reading each one of them, feeling sorry for everything a twelve-year-old girl must think about.

[T/N: F*ck you Albus! You don't get to feel sorry!]

Skuld was in the library almost like every day reading new things, expanding her knowledge, and remembering over and over again that she only thought about stupid girl nonsense.

What parents didn't love their children? Just because they didn't show it didn't mean they didn't feel it.

People have problems bigger than themselves. She's just exaggerating.

It must be that.

She didn't notice anything strange until she looked up and found the golden trio, as she had nicknamed them, at the same table as her.

" Um... hello " the twin greeted.

She had never felt happier.

She smiled, feeling her heart beat faster, and moved her chair a little closer.

" Hello, Ron! " She spoke a little louder than him.

"That's Nike... These are Harry and Hermione, my friends " he presents them with a grimace of discomfort.

" It's nice to meet you, I'm glad Ron has good friends " she admitted.

Hermione and Harry were shocked. From how Ron described his twin sister before deciding to ask her for help, they believed she was the devil himself.

But all they could see was an adorable redhead excited for her brother to come talk to her.

Even though she was a rival with them.

Harry can understand the excitement she felt. It's similar to when he found out he was a wizard, and he would stay away from the Dursleys.

Now more than ever he wanted to get to know her more, not to see her in the hallways walking alone and in classes sitting with her eyes on her notes and answering the teacher's questions only if they require it.

" Ron had told us about you and... " Hermione can't continue, she doesn't want to use her to find out something and leave her alone again. She looked momentarily too happy for that. " We wanted to get to know you a little, you seem nice.

" Really? " she whispered, controlling a squeal of excitement.

Ron kicked Hermione under the table.

[T/N: F*CK YOU RON!]

No, not her.

" No," the redhead says abruptly. " They didn't want to hurt you, but the truth was that they didn't want to get to know you, we need you to help us with something, adopted."

Skuld's freckled face quickly changed from a smile to a grimace of sadness and then to coldness.

How did she fall so quickly for the simple words of a girl with long teeth? Her brother would never talk about her with his cool and fun friends, they only need her for their benefit and then throw her away.

But how could she refuse to help him? After all, he was her brother, the one she had seen fall, cry, laugh, and grow.

Family was family, it never leaves you.

" How can I help you? " She finally asked seriously and brushed a lock of hair from her cheek.

" Do you know a certain Nicolas Flamel? " Harry asks.

She looked at him for a few seconds before answering,

" I'm sorry I can't help you, it doesn't sound familiar to me."

Ron's loud, annoying snort scared the three of them.

" It was to be expected! " he snorted again, earning a dirty look from some older boys studying at a nearby table. " You always do everything for your benefit, I wish you weren't my sister, you selfish liar.

Harry and Hermione watched without speaking, completely disagreeing with Ron.

They had liked the little they had seen of the mysterious Weasley from Slytherin, and she seemed sincere.

" Ron, I think she really wants to help you " Hermione decided to intervene " but she has no idea who Flamel is."

" You say that because you didn't know her " he replied pointing to her. " Let's go, it's not worth it."

Skuld clenches her fists tightly.

He's your brother, he's your little brother.

However, just before he left through the door of the great library, a force pushed him and he fell on his face, hitting his nose hard.

And Skuld, instead of feeling guilty, smiled.
