After finishing up with Darwin, I drove back to the firm to inform my staff. I scheduled a company dinner to celebrate once the deal was finalized. It felt surreal. Darwin had promised to put El-Reese on the map despite the obstacles, and we had finally prevailed.
As a first step, I ordered food for everyone while we packed up to leave. I returned to my office, where I ate my meal and texted Castiel to check on Reese. While I waited for his reply, I packed my essentials and gadgets before heading to the parking lot.
