I woke up with a yawn, my thoughts immediately flitting to Castiel. Maybe I was daydreaming, but the sleeping man holding me contradicted that notion. Legally Blonde had finished playing, and an episode of 2 Broke Girls was now streaming from my Netflix watchlist. I'd need to turn that off soon.
A smile spread across my lips as I watched him, chin resting on his chest. He looked so peaceful, just like Reese. Sometimes, I wished the universe had been kind enough to have him as her biological father instead of Alan. In so many ways, she mirrored Castiel more than Alan, and all I could boast about was giving her my eyes, the only trait she inherited from me.
