Dearest Reader,

Thank you for clicking and giving this piece a try! Before you dive in, I'd like to share a few things upfront.

There's no estimated length for this story yet (the number of chapters is still undecided). For now, updates will be posted three times a week—on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, please note that this schedule may shift, but I'll always aim for three chapters per week. As of November 1st, you can expect daily updates! I like to think of this story as a written soap opera, hehe.

As for the plot, Brewing Love and Lies blends several popular themes, including a one-night stand, pregnancy, contract/fake marriage, revenge, "win her back" arcs, betrayal, face-slapping moments, and even an age gap of less than four years. If any (or all) of these themes pique your interest, then this story is for you!

The book is written in a first-person perspective, primarily from the female lead's point of view (which makes up 90% of the narrative). There will also be chapters from the male lead's perspective. Occasionally, a chapter might include both perspectives, but I generally avoid that to keep things clear. Additionally, some chapters will be labeled as "Narrator's View" and will be written in the third person for storytelling purposes.

In terms of pacing, the story moves fairly quickly. As for the romance, it's a medium pace—not too rushed, but not a slow burn either.

One last note: I've added song recommendations throughout the book. These aren't mandatory to enjoy the story, but they're songs I listened to while writing or ones I thought would pair well with the chapter's mood. Feel free to share your own song suggestions in the comments—they might just make it into an official playlist!
