Bug Fixes: Some major bugs have been addressed.
This massive update caused a stir even as Knight slept. Late-night users, eager to explore the new features, flooded the Magic Network. Some dove into the new sections, while others rushed to the forum, hoping to earn rewards from the [Update BUG Feedback Post].
[Update BUG Feedback Post]: Knight, developer of the Magic Network (nickname "Sigma Man"), thanked users for their patience and invited them to report any bugs. The post promised rewards ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 points depending on the severity of the issue, with an additional 500 points for simply leaving a message in celebration of Knight's recent title as one of the Ten Holy Magicians.
Jurarekis: "Congratulations, Knight. As fellow Saint Ten members, we should exchange magic.
"Blue Pegasus Member: "Wow, Knight! The Council knows talent when they see it. How about joining Blue Pegasus?"
Jenillia Wright: "Sigma Man, I hear you're handsome. Want to go on a date, cutie?
"Wind-like Warrior: "500 points! Thank you, Knight!"
Death (Eligor): "The Saint Ten aren't so special! I'll be back, and the Six Demon Generals will destroy you!"
The forum buzzed with excitement. Some users posted just to be part of the moment, while others genuinely wanted to give feedback. However, no one seemed to report actual bugs yet.
The Next Day
Knight woke up feeling a surge in his magic power. Checking his stats, he noted that his magic had grown significantly—on par with that of Laxus, a fellow powerful mage. As he prepared for the day, Uru, his trusted assistant from the deep web, appeared looking concerned.
"Nate, something's wrong," she said, looking tired.
Knight frowned. "Is it a bug?"
"No," Uru replied. "The mana source's growth has slowed significantly since the update."
Knight entered the deep web, a world now made of ice and snow to suit Uru's preferences. Together, they descended into the darkness where the mana source, a massive light, pulsed in front of them.
Uru explained, "The mana was growing fast before, but after the update, it's slowed down."
Knight observed the source, noting that while it was still expanding, the rate had decreased. "The new functions, especially express delivery and voice chat, are consuming a lot of magic power. It's still growing, but much slower."
"Will it stop entirely?" Uru asked, concerned.
"If the consumption remains too high, it could shrink," Knight said thoughtfully. "But it's normal for it to slow after a big update. It should stabilize soon."
To reassure her, Knight withdrew a large amount of mana from the source and infused it into Uru, solidifying her presence. She looked completely real now, no longer ghost-like.
"You've been working hard," Knight said with a smile. "Consider this a reward. Don't stay here all the time—take some time to relax."
As Uru accepted his kindness with surprise, Knight thought of Ultear and his promise to take care of Uru, determined to keep his word.
With the Magic Internet update in full swing and the deep web stable for now, Knight prepared for another day of work.
