"Hey, hey, are we really going in there?"
Golden Hand, dragged by Ethan to the riverbank, had a face full of reluctance. A **Mage Tower** is practically a miniaturized divine realm, and here Ethan was talking about extinguishing the magical stone on top—how could that even be possible?
"How will we know if we don't try? Enough complaining, let's go!"
Without waiting for a reply, Ethan dove straight into the river. Golden Hand, grumbling all the way, reluctantly followed. Swimming forward through the icy river currents, they soon reached the lake. From this vantage, they could see the layout behind the Raia tribe's settlement.
To Ethan's surprise, the Mage Tower was perched on the edge of a cliff face. The cliff was sheer, with no guards in sight and no vantage for the Mage Tower to survey them—an ideal spot for a covert approach.
"Alright, let's land here."
Ethan messaged Golden Hand, then quietly swam over to the base of the cliff.
