Chapter 104 - Two Druids

"Stop!" CrimsonDusk whispered suddenly, and the entire group immediately halted, holding their breath.

Not far ahead, a small stream blocked their path. By the stream's edge, a large forest deer was quietly drinking. The deer had a slender, graceful body that glowed faintly with a rainbow-like sheen, and its four hooves were pure white, almost like clouds. However, it had no antlers, indicating it was a doe.

"It's a transformed druid. Let's go around it," CrimsonDusk said in a low voice, recognizing it immediately.

Druids were primarily an elven class, rarely available to humans. Polymorph spells, like the one used by druids, were actually inspired by them. Druids often liked to take animal forms, but due to the side effects of prolonged transformations, they could eventually lose their original selves, becoming permanently "assimilated" into their animal forms.
