Garry finished reading the last page of the book, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he had to do something, and fast. He grabbed the book and rushed out of the house. He needed to find someone who could help him.
He ran back home and called the police station. He explained everything he had learned about Bill Wicepher and the danger he was in. The officer listened attentively, but his expression remained skeptical.
"Mr. Johnson," the officer said, "I understand you're scared, but these are just stories. There's no evidence that a supernatural entity is harming you."
"But I know it's true," Garry insisted. "I saw him. I read about him. He's after me."
The officer sighed. "Mr. Johnson, I'm going to need some proof before we can take any action."
Garry hung up the phone feeling defeated. He knew he couldn't rely on the police. He had to find help elsewhere. He started searching online for information about exorcists and paranormal investigators. He found a website for a renowned paranormal investigator named Dr. Evelyn Carter.
Garry contacted Dr. Carter and explained his situation. To his surprise, she agreed to help him. She told him she would be in town the following day and would meet him at his house.
Garry spent the rest of the day preparing for Dr. Carter's arrival. He made sure his house was clean and tidy, and he set up a recording device to capture any evidence of paranormal activity. He was filled with hope and fear as he waited for the night to fall.
