Chapter 21 - Chapter 20: Time for a Break Out!

Summary: Viva La Revolution mother fuckers!

Gemini watched as his mistress strapped the princess in. "You'll never break me and Tad, we'll never talk!"

"The hairball? We just set him on fire and launched him out of a cannon." His mistress smirked with something that filled his happy dreams at night. "We have much more serious plans for a 'princess' of your caliber."

The princess laughed. "Hate to break it to you, but I'm a guy."

"Gender makes no difference, as long as you view yourself as the perfect girl with no individuality." Mistress spoke. "And I can see the potential within you. That desire for safety, that over compulsive perfection, the hips!"

"…I feel a confusing wave of embarrassment and flattery at the same time." The prisoner muttered as his eyelids were peeled back to prevent blinking.

"When we're done with you, you won't feel anything aside from the need to carry out your noble duties." His mistress cackled. "You may have caused a fuss upstairs, but the moment your soul belongs to me, so will they, for rebellion is a child's dream."

"I feel like you're breaking so many laws with just brainwashing alone."

"Eh, when the people get a princess that questions nothing and looks pretty, government's are pretty lenient about what's allowed." Gemini explained. "That's how we're able to afford the robots."

"Oh yeah, those were things." The boy muttered. "So how does this work? Show me a bunch of tea drinking videos for the next few days?"

"In the layman's term, yes, yes we are, but we're going to shock you with a couple volts everytime we feel like you're not taking it seriously." Ms. Heinous smirked gleefully.

"My eyes are glued open, i'm not sure how I wouldn't be taking this seriously-" They flipped the switch as the images started piling on the screen, speakers screaming into the boys ears.

"The proper hat for the event, lest you be a malcontent." The speakers screeched into the boys ears as the next image was shown. "Everyone will admire the princess that does not perspire."

"Really, this is how you want every princess to live, by being cheesy and repetitive...?" The boy stopped when the volts charged through his head.

"Talking back to your superior is considered un princess-like." His mistress spoke. "But don't worry, I won't give up on you yet."

"You haven't had one hopeless case yet." Gemini congratulated his mistress.

"Yes, now if only they would send that Butterfly brat here, then I'd have a perfect princess in every single kingdom in every dimension..well each dimension that matters."

"Nobody around down here, we're good to go." Star watched Kelly come back in. "You can take off the muzzle." Yes, they had to muzzle her best friend, because she was screaming for help and that her perfection was being ruined.

"Unhand me, you low life miscreants! Why, I have half a mind to give your face a good slapping, but I'll refrain from physical retribution in the form of a sincere apology."

"Pony, please, stop talking like that, you being fancy looks creepy!" Quartz shouted. "You love getting physical, fighting is half of what you do when you don't try to party!"

"And it's your birthday, the one day where you're allowed to party however you want, whenever you want!" Star shook the unicorn.

"A party must be done with tiny cakes and tea." They spoke simply. "Raising one's pink ninety degrees."

"You don't even have pinkies!" Kelly was getting in on the collective freaking out. "You're a floating head, you defy tradition and conformity just by existing!"

"That just means I must train harder to make up for my naturally occurring flaws."

"Pony, those aren't flaws, that's literally what makes you, you!" She cried, ripping a poster on the wall saying 'embrace princess mentality by losing your individuality'. "Your the first friend I ever had, even before I had Quartz, you poked me with your horn and everything when we were babies!"

Ponyhead froze, a single twitch in her eyes. Were they reaching her? Was Ponyhead still in there. "N-no! I-I'm a princess, therefore, I must be perfect." Yes, they were getting through, they just needed to work harder!

"Ponyhead, you aren't perfect!" Quartz shouted. "You're a reckless, wild, partygoer who cares about her friends above herself! You're not perfect, you're completely flawed! And that's okay, because it makes you more beautiful than fakers!"

"You're nothing like your family!" Star shouted. "Your not some snob, your a beautiful creature that should roam free and party, because you love it, and that's why we love you. So come back please … please …"

The two butterflies surround the girl with a hug, both their cheeks sharing the same white glow as they did, but that didn't matter when they were probably losing their friend. "Come back to us, sis." Quartz squeezes harder.

"I…I…" A single tear fell out of her eye, washing away some of that pasty white makeup that was covering her whole body. "I-I…" her little body shook and trembled. "I….I love you too!" She broke out of their hold and shook her head until her hair was wild and bushy. "B-fly! Q-fly! You're here!"

"You're back!" Star shouted. "You're back you're back you're back!" She jumped up and down! "Finally, this is awesome! Now we just need to grab-" She gasped. "Marco!"

"And Tad." Kelly spoke up.

"Eh, we already got to save one turd, do we really need to save another?" Ponyhead rolled her eyes. Yep, the girl was back alright!

"You only met him for like, two seconds on a mirror call." Kelly groaned.

"I'm a good judge of character." Ponyhead smirked.

"Didn't you try to get Marco arrested and/or killed when you first met him?" Star remined.

"That was just my test for him! Now I know how far he's willing to go to be besties with my bestie." She missed this so much. "Now let's get earth turd out of here."

"Don't worry guys." Quartz smirked. "This time, I've got the plan."

========================================================================

Quartz Universe Butterfly, one of the sane members of the group in his humble opinion, realized his plan to crawl through the vents may have not been … the best. "I'm stuck." For reasons such as he 'might' have been a 'bit' chubby.

"Yeah, maybe it's a good thing Cookie cats aren't made anymore." Ponyhead spoke with mirth, trying to push him through the vent.

"Pony, I already have to live in a universe without them, don't remind me of the cruel life I must live now.

"Don't worry bro, I have the perfect plan for this." Star said as he felt pressure from behind. "Fantastic exit beam!"

"Wait, don't use..!" He felt his body colliding with Star's as the two of them were forced flying through the narrow metal tunnel. "... Magic …" Well at least he was out. "Everything hurts."

"It's fine … just agony." Star grumbled. "Do you think we're close to Marco?" They were interrupted with very girly screams of terror.

"There's his unmistakable shrieks of horror." Kelly crawled in from behind, somehow able to get that mane of hair through the vents effortlessly. "He's just up ahead."

"Oh crap, earth turd's in the comforitorium." Ponyhead freaked out. "If he's there, they probably fried his brain into memorizing the seventy different ways to tie a bonnet."

"Not on my watch!" Star pulled out her wand. "Giant Gummy MOTH GUARDIAN!" The vent grate opened up, finally giving them all the space to move around as they saw Marco strapped to a chair as the candied moth crashed through some glass.

"A princess must be poised and postured … a princess must be delicate and sweet …" Ponyhead rushed over, freeing the boy's hand in order to slap him with it. "Who, wha, where am I!?"

"You're the earth turd that I share my bestie with, so that makes us besties in-laws or whatever." She tipped the chair and let it smash to the ground.

"Why does my head hurt … can I keep the dress?" The dude was really out of it.

"We'll take it to the cleaners after we take care of a few stains." Kelly got her sword out as she and him charged through the broken glass, into the room where Heinous and her minion were.

"It's over, Ms. Heinous." Seriously, with a name like that, they were basically expecting this lady to be evil at some point in her life

"It is never over!" The woman shouted, the dust making her skin flake. "This institution will never fall!" The makeup ran down and showed …

"Are those Mewni marks?" Quartz stared at them. Clovers too. But how would she be exposed to so much magic without the wand?

"What?" Then the old lady patted her cheeks, and saw that they were glowing. "No, no, my flaws are showing, I have to suppress them before they become evident!" She completely ignored everyone else as she ran in front of the projector. "A princess has no individuality. She's perfect and has now flaws on the inside or out."

"...." There was nothing anyone could say about the sight of the woman apparently having PTSD and brainwashing herself, the group slowly backing away and closing the door behind them, an awkward silence in the air.

"… So is this one of those cases where we need to hug the enemy?" Star asked him.

"Maybe later, under different circumstances, I think now we just need to get far, far away from … whatever that was." He shivered. "At least we know why she hates Mewmans now."

"Whatever, the old crazy bag acts like an old crazy hag." Ponyhead charged forward. "Now let's bust this joint before she starts acting even crazier and remembers that we're breaking out!"

"Not so fast." Marco spoke up. "I've seen far too much for just us to leave now … it is no longer time for a prison break. It's time for a revolution!" The boy shouted, running forward.

"I'm down for that!" Star shouted. "Let's free the princesses and destroy this wicked nightmare!"

"Death to conformity!" They cheered as a group. It was nice when they could channel all their destructive actions towards a good cause. It was the perfect balance of what he and Star wanted.

========================================================================

"It's not criminal, to be an individual! It's not criminal, to be an individual!" The princesses shouting inside of their cages was what the group came across.

"Wow, you really do know how to start a riot." Kelly deadpanned.

"Like I said, I've seen a lot of prison movies. They just needed something to rally against." Marco smirked as he kicked off a lock on one of them. "Listen now, my wayward sisters, the time for drinking tea and tying bows is over! The horrible heinous has fallen, now we must rise!"

"What's your name?" A triclops princess asked.

"Marco..."

"Turdina!" Ponyhead added with a snort.

"All shall rise and fight for the glorious rebel leader, princess Marco Turdina!" A crab armed princess shouted.

"Really, I'm wearing a dress and you couldn't give me this?" She heard the boy argue.

"You just become the icon for all princess freedom everywhere, it ain't going to matter what your name is, they'll love you no matter what." Ponyhead justified it as she blasted another lock.

Rolling her eyes, Kelly just smiled as she used her favorite sword ever to cut through several of the cage locks as Quartz blew them up. "Ever think you'd be a part of a jailbreak, Quartz?"

"Only by the chance Star was ever thrown in jail for the wrong reasons, still never figured out the right dimension to hide out in though."

"Aw, thanks bro, I totally do the same for you, except your too nice to really break the law, though that time with the moss stuff probably counts." She responded, blasting another wall down as the princesses rushed forward.

"Viva la revolution!" Marco shouted. "Onwards my princesses, to freedom, unique lifestyles, and parties!!"

"Party time!" Ponyhead cried out as they burst through the doors into the front yard, where the princess made short work of the robots guarding the place. "Ain't no one going to stop this party train again!"

"And we're going to make sure that it never does! Turbo nuclear butterfly blast!" Star took out her wand and shot a bazooka-like projectile towards the tallest tower in the facility, making it explode and fall atop most of the robots.

"The jamer is down, we're free!" Marco shouted. "Come on everyone, let's get out of here!"

"Are you kidding!?" Triclopse princess shouted. "We took this place down! It's gonna be a party that lasts forever!" The wayward princesses all cheered, setting up a rave from the explosions of the facility.

"You know what, she's right. Kinda think I'll stay for a bit." Ponyhead laughed. "B-fly, Q-fly, Bush head, turdina, you gave me the best present of all-my groove back!" She snuggled into Star and Quartz's hold. "See ya, Star, don't let the party end! And next time I see yah, bro, you better have a girl by your side!" She then turned to Kelly. "You know what you gotta do." She vaguely said before joining the other princesses.

"What did she mean by that?" Kelly asked the others.

"No clue." Quartz shrugged. "But we got the princesses out, and everyone's accounted for."

They heard groaning, turning to see Tad dragging himself, while on fire. "Please tell me … I get smooches for this." He spoke, obviously in agony.

"Sure sure little guy." Kelly reached down, helping him back into her hair after giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Yeah, yeah, fun times all around, conquering fear, getting over trauma, defying the norm, now let's book it! I never want to come here again!" Star opened her portal.

"You know, for a second I actually forgot I was wearing a dress." Marco said as they walked through. "Do you ever get like that Star?" The brainwashing may have sunk in a little deep

"I just hope nothing else terrible comes from here again." Quartz signed, stepping through. "Not like there's much Heinous can do without the Jammer or bots."

========================================================================

Perfect Lady. Ms. Heinous was the perfect role model. Flawless, perfect, did not get too worked up in emotions. Everything was getting suppressed. Her anger, her anxiety, her lingering sadness, and the fur that occasionally grew on her arms when she stressed herself out.

"Ms. Heinous." Gemini called out from the other room. "The jammer has been destroyed and the gaurds have been taken down. The princesses don't have anything to fear from us anymore."

"No … it's not that they don't fear us." She spoke, beginning her pace. "It's that their souls reside within an image to rally behind … believing it will keep them safe." A symbol to place all that misguided hope.

This was a tricky situation indeed. Years of progress were being undone thanks to the simple words of one rowdy interloper, not to mention his ally's who for a brief second saw her hidden flaws. "What should we do, Ms. Heinous?"

"We must break their hope." She spoke, noticing a single object lying on the floor. "We must break Princess Marco into the perfect princess." A Bobby pin laid on the floor. "And we'll start by figuring out where in the universe he lives."
