Akira sat in the passenger seat and let out a dejected sigh, as if he had just received bad news.
It was still possible to see people running and screaming, some seemed happy with the death of those two men, but most did not know how to feel, afraid of what would happen next.
Yamcha, who was hiding behind a small building, had his eyes filled with astonishment "He can do that kind of attack too?!"
Killing those two men wouldn't be a big deal to him, so it could be ignored, but a Ki attack was something he didn't even understand, he could only fear it, remembering the mountain being erased.
Akira didn't show enough strength to destroy a mountain, but looking at the crater in the ground, Yamcha could imagine his body being destroyed with just one attack.
In the car, Oolong was quite scared, he had met Akira in the morning and had already been scolded by him, so upon seeing how absurd his power was, he could only pray that he would never offend this monster again.
Goku on the other hand looked excitedly at Akira "Can you use the Kamehameha too!?" He said looking at him from the back seat.
The sound of the door opening rang out and soon came the sound of knocking "That wasn't a Kamehameha, it was a Ki attack!" Chi-Chi said, sitting behind Akira "Hmph!" She snorted at Goku.
Completely ignoring the tone the girl used, Goku gave her a curious look and asked "Ki attack? What is that?"
From the passenger seat, Akira looked back and said "Master Roshi's attack is a Ki attack, but it has its own form, so it has its own characteristics, but essentially it's the same thing... When you can destroy a mountain with one attack, I can explain more to you" He gave a slight smile and looked forward again.
Bulma got in from the other side, sitting in front of the steering wheel. She gave Akira a brief glance, then focused in front of her "Let's get out of here"
Goku was thoughtful, he hadn't quite understood what Akira had said, but he knew he would have a better explanation when he had enough strength.
...
As they walked away from the small town, they were still followed by Yamcha, who had enough courage to follow them, even though he knew he would be no match for Goku, much less Akira.
Akira was a little thoughtful in the car 'I thought it would still be difficult to kill people...' He looks at his hand, remembering how he broke that man's neck.
'But it was as simple as killing animals, in fact it was even satisfying to kill shits like that' A wry smile appeared on his lips.
He looked to the side and stared at Bulma, she had been quieter since that happened "Do you think I did something wrong?"
His calm voice rang in her ears, making her feel a slight chill down her spine. Her gaze lost some focus on the road and turned to him.
Remembering those two men, Bulma didn't feel an ounce of pity, she didn't think Akira had done anything wrong, but the scene had been more brutal than she could have expected.
Her silence gave someone else the opportunity to answer in her place "Akira didn't do anything wrong! Those bastards were doing evil to innocent people, so it was only right that they be punished!" Chi-Chi said, as she leaned in so she could look at him.
Akira smiled at the girl, then said "Thank you" His gaze slowly returned to Bulma and he continued "I see, it wasn't exactly a common sight..."
'It must have been her first time seeing someone die in front of her... Well, it was my first time too, but we're very different in that regard' Akira thought, as he looked at the blue-haired girl.
Bulma made a bitter expression, she wanted to say the same thing as Chi-Chi, but part of her was still shocked by the scene.
"Akira...?!" Her voice stopped when she saw his arm stretching in front of her face.
In a very short moment, a purple glow came out from Akira's fingers and hit something a few meters away from the car, causing an explosion.
Bulma reflexively stepped on the brakes, making the flying car slowly stop. At that moment, a robot appeared before them.
One of the robot's arms looked like a cannon and there was dark smoke coming out of it, it was obviously the one that had attacked them, but Akira's attack prevented them from being hit.
Inside the robot was an anthropomorphic dog, wearing a ninja outfit, he looked confused at the intact car "How strange, did I miss the shot?" His voice sounded muffled by the glass that trapped him inside the robot.
"What's going on?!" Bulma's eyes filled with doubts. Those in the back seat also wondered without understanding anything, just looking at that strange robot, which was blocking the way.
There were tree-sized mushrooms scattered all over the place, surrounding the narrow road, and on top of one of these huge mushrooms was a woman with long dark hair and blue eyes.
This woman looked through binoculars, while holding a communicator in her other hand "Shu, what's the matter, why haven't you attacked them yet?" She said into the communicator.
These same words could be heard inside the robot, only with a slight distortion. Shu replied "I attacked, but something strange happened, I'll have to change the plan a little"
At that moment, even further away than the woman, Yamcha stopped and observed the scene "Someone is attacking them... It seems that we are not the only ones who thought of this strategy. If I'm not mistaken, they must be the ones who have the last dragon ball"
Puar beside him smiled "It would be great if they destroyed each other, wouldn't it, Yamcha?"
"It would be perfect, but it's unlikely... At best, we can gain some advantage if they get injured" Yamcha said, keeping his attention mainly on Akira, who was currently getting out of the car.
Akira walked towards the robot and looked Shu in the eyes "Why did you attack us?" His hands were in his pockets, as if this was a casual conversation between friends.
From inside the robot, Shu smiled confidently "I came to get the six dragon balls you have, so hand them over" The robot's other arm, which was a kind of robotic claw, opened and closed, making a metallic sound.
Akira sighed and shook his head, "I don't have time to waste on you..." He moved at a speed that was difficult for normal people to follow with their eyes, appearing before the robot.
His hand passed through the glass like it was paper, causing it to shatter into pieces, then he grabbed Shu by his clothes.
"What!?" He yelled blankly as he was pulled out of the robot.
Throwing him to the ground beside the road, Akira gave him a cold look and said "Don't show your face in front of me again, or I'll kill you" Then he extended his left arm towards the robot, launching a small Ki attack.
The robot was sent off the road and exploded, causing a loud sound to ring out all the way to where Yamcha was standing.
Inside the car, Goku was confused "What's going on? Was that monster after the dragon balls, being so weak? And why was there someone inside the monster, had he been devoured?"
"You're kind of slow..." Chi-Chi said with an emotionless look.
As he was thrown to the ground, Shu felt pain in his back, but it went away when he saw the robot exploding, which made him scared.
Akira approached him and whispered "I can see your partner up there, if you want to stay alive, just get out of here" Without waiting for an answer, he walked back to the car.
Shu was shocked when he heard those words, even though he knew that woman was watching them from afar, he wouldn't find her so quickly, but this person in front of him had seen her even in that situation, without any information?
"Let's go quickly, whoever has the last dragon ball knows we're going there" Akira said as he got into the car.
Bulma was still very surprised, but nodded "Okay!"
...
A few minutes later, that woman had arrived where Shu was "What happened?! I saw the robot exploding, I thought you had died!" Her voice was filled with confusion and a hint of relief.
"Mai..." Shu trembled a little as he looked at the woman "That guy was scary, he looked ready to kill me at any second... He told us to get out of here if we want to live! The great Pilaf, they're probably going to him to get the dragon ball, we should go help him, but..." His body trembled even more.
Mai gave him a complex look, it wasn't hard to understand the reason for his fear, she couldn't see everything, but she saw how the robot exploded.
She took out the communicator attached to her waist then pressed a button "Great Pilaf, can you hear me?"
Silence took over the place for a few seconds, Mai's expression turned ugly "Are you listening to me sir?"
After a full minute, a voice filled with disdain sounded "What are you guys doing calling me at this time? Just bring the dragon balls here already!"
Mai took a deep breath and said "My lord, there's a problem, there was someone protecting the dragon balls, he destroyed the robot and..."
"You incompetents!" The communicator's voice sounded filled with rage "How could you fail the mission I gave you? And why are you calling me instead of going after them again?! Sort this out, or I'll kill you both!"
Mai gritted her teeth, as her hand gripped the communicator tightly "Yes, sir" Her voice was filled with resentment.
...
Yamcha was inside his own flying car, looking at the orange sky "I think that's it, we better go back to the desert..."
He had a bitter smile on his face 'If it was just Goku it would be fine, even if it was hard to beat him we could still try something, but that guy...'
Destroying that robot with one attack proved that Akira was very strong, at a level that Yamcha didn't want to risk.
Puar remained silent, not even his blind faith in Yamcha made him believe in a possible victory against Akira.
...
The sun was about to set when Bulma stopped the flying car in front of a large building, whose base looked like a pyramid and its top a castle.
"The last dragon ball must be in there somewhere!" She said excitedly.
Akira extended his hand to her and said "Lend me the radar, it'll be faster if I go alone" His voice was calm and a slight smile was plastered on his face.
Bulma was a little confused, but she trusted him, so she handed over the dragon radar.
The others also didn't understand why Akira wanted to go alone, but then they saw him start to float and their eyes filled with disbelief.
"Flying! Akira is flying!" Bulma exclaimed in surprise. She wasn't shocked because she had seen other impressive things before, but it was still something that surprised her.
Without any delay, Akira flew towards the castle at high speed while looking at the radar in his hand.
Chi-Chi wanted to follow him flying too, but she couldn't, so she looked at him in frustration. Oolong could fly in his transformations, so it didn't seem too amazing to him, but he was still surprised that Akira could do it.
When Akira arrived where the dragon ball was supposed to be, he broke the stone wall with a kick, then entered.
...
Inside the computer room at Pilaf's HQ, a hole had appeared in the wall and out emerged a young man with black hair.
A short, blue-skinned human looked on in astonishment "Who are you?! How dare you enter my castle!?" He shouted.
The black-haired young man, Akira, approached that strange being "Pilaf, you would have your importance by freeing Piccolo Daimaoh, but for me that would just be an unnecessary risk of losing Kami-Sama prematurely, so you are useless dead, but a risk if you stay alive..."
"What the hell are you saying? How do you know my name?" Pilaf was angry and confused, searching the room for a way to attack Akira.
"Sorry, but I don't want to waste my time with you, so try regretting in hell" Akira extended his index and middle finger towards Pilaf's head and everything was over in an instant.
There was no time to scream or run away, the Ki came out of Akira's fingers and blew Pilaf's head off.
With the help of the radar, Akira quickly found the sphere that was stored in a locked case, which he easily opened with his strength.
He looked at Pilaf's dead body and said "If he was someone worthy, I would have at least given him some time, but unfortunately that wasn't the case with him"
"GRRRRHHHHWWW" An animalistic scream rang in Akira's ear, making him feel a shiver run through his entire body.
"Shit, the full moon!" Akira shot out like a rocket through the hole in the wall.
