*Sai* (groaning, eyes still closed): "Huh… Where am I?"
His body throbbed with pain, each pulse a reminder of his uncertain fate.
*Sai* (wincing, breath hitching): "That hurts..."
Finally, he forced his eyes open, blinking against the dappled light filtering through the leaves. To his bewilderment, he found himself hanging upside down from a tree, branches tangled around him like skeletal fingers. Confusion swirled in his mind like a tempest.
*Sai* (wide-eyed, panic creeping in): "What the…? Why am I here?"
He struggled to free himself, each movement a battle against the pain radiating from his limbs.
*Sai* (gritting his teeth, voice strained): "Ugh… My whole body freaking hurts."
As he finally managed to untangle himself and drop to the ground, a strange sound rippled through the air—a low growl mixed with the rustling of leaves, sinister and foreboding.
*Sai* (eyes darting around, heart racing): "What's that sound?"
Suddenly, the eerie silence shattered, sending a jolt of fear through him.
*Voice in his head: *"RUN!"*
*Sai* (heart pounding, shouting into the void): "Huh?! Who's there?!"
But before he could grasp the gravity of his situation, a horde of grotesque monsters emerged from the shadows, their glowing eyes fixed hungrily on him.
*Sai* (panicking, breath hitching): "What the fuck...?"
His throat tightened as the creatures closed in, their snarls vibrating the very air around him.
*Sai* (screaming, adrenaline surging): "Shit, shit, run!"
Without thinking, he bolted, his legs moving on pure instinct. The forest blurred around him, the thundering of his heart drowning out all other sounds.
*Sai* (panting, desperate): "Fuck! Why am I here? No—how am I here?!"
Panic surged through him, but he pushed forward, his thoughts racing like wildfire.
*Sai* (frantically, glancing back): "I need to get out of here, first!"
He stopped suddenly, realizing he had reached a dead end. His heart sank as he stared at the towering wall of trees before him, their gnarled branches like the claws of a monstrous beast. But just beyond, the ground fell away—*a massive waterfall crashed down, its roar drowning out everything else.*
*Sai* (eyes wide, panic setting in): "What? No way this ends here!"
The growls grew louder behind him. The creatures were close. Too close.
*Sai* (defiantly, summoning his courage): "If I'm dying anyway, I'm not gonna be your food!"
Raising his middle finger, he screamed into the void, a last act of rebellion.
*Sai* (with a final shout, voice echoing through the forest): "Fuck you!"
With no hesitation, he leaped from the cliff's edge, into the waterfall's embrace.
*Sai* (in freefall, eyes wide, voice filled with reckless determination): "Here goes nothing!"
The world spun around him as he plummeted through the air, time slowing to a crawl. The edge of the waterfall loomed ahead, a jagged line marking the boundary between sky and the violent, churning waters below.
*Sai* (gritting his teeth, bracing for impact): "This is gonna hurt..."
And then, in an instant, the water's surface rushed up to meet him. The impact was brutal, driving the air from his lungs and sending a jolt of pain through every fiber of his being. The cold engulfed him, dragging him into its icy depths, suffocating and disorienting.
