Agni, upon seeing the strange sign and not finding any NPC in the small ghost village, decided that it was enough and he will go out of the village to find the villagers if he had to, because he wanted his skills and Spell books quickly because he wanted to leave everyone in the dust immediately after getting them.
Agni reached the Blacksmith and saw the same sign saying; "closed. Hide as far as you can." Written on it in bold letters; but there was something else as well!
May be Agni did not notice it before, but the there was also a marking of a grey boney wolf on the door, just below the sign, and now when Agni looked at it, Agni had an in culling about what had happened to the villagers; or… may be a guess.
The first answer was, they were eaten by that grey wolf, and the second answer was that the war was still outgoing between the wolf and the Villagers, so that is why the Villagers were not present there at the moment.
The Grey Wolf was a terrifying monster and Agni knew it Pritty well; but he decided to help the villagers in any way he could just because of the sake of Humanity. He knew that this was a game and his actions were not going to affect his real life identity, but he still wanted to help them sley the ferocious wolf because deep inside, he wanted to do it to prove that he will not become a Corrupt person in the future and will always strive for what is the best for everyone around him, including himself.
But the thing was, what can he even do, not to mention that he had no skills or spells, he was too week to handle the grey wolf who he estimated to be at level fifty.
Agni still decided to go there and see the fight going to gain experience; after all he didn't have any at the moment. He was just an amateur.
So according to his plan, he left the village and started to look for the clues about the Villagers whereabouts. It did not took him long to find several footprints going to a single place. There were also some footprints of horses mixed with them.
Agni did not watch for long and immediately headed where the footprints were going. It was a little hard for Agni to track the footprints, because the footprints were being erased by the wind which had suddenly started blowing if like someone didn't want Agni to reach the place at where the war was going on. Ignoring all this, Agni continued his path, and soon arrived near a glade or at least, it was once a glade. But now, it was just a battle ground for the little monsters of that place.
Agni wanted to avoid that place so he just went forward and tried not to look in the glade's direction. As he was about to go away though, he suddenly stopped and looked behind him, towards the glade; something was shining there in a bright golden light.
Should I check the Item out? But it's may be dangerous, Agni inwardly wondered and begin to think.
After thinking for about 5-minuts, Agni decided that he had to take a risk if he wanted to become the strongest, so he started to walk in that direction from where the golden light was Coming from.
