Chapter 310 - Chapter 308: Drunken Tohru (3)

After preparing all the dishes, Sui and Erina enjoyed a cozy dinner together in the living room.

The tuna sashimi was exceptionally plump and tender, with a rich texture that melted in their mouths. A light dip in mustard or lemon juice enhanced the flavor, making it an absolute delicacy. The grilled, fatty beef and rabbit wrapped in sweet cabbage leaves offered a crisp and refreshing bite, blending the sweetness of the vegetables with the richness of the meat—another delectable dish.

Alongside these, they had prepared sashimi sushi. All the dishes were made by Sui and Erina, and they were truly delicious. Paired with the fragrant wine freshly poured from the Sakeyashi Fruit, the meal was an absolute delight.

The Sakeyashi Fruit weighed around twelve pounds, and once its shell was removed, about six or seven pounds of juice remained. Sui tasted the juice—it was rich, sweet, and filled with the aroma of coconut, but its alcohol content was a bit too high. To balance it out, Sui mixed in some fruit juices, turning the strong coconut wine into a lighter, fruity beverage.

The new blend had a sweet, tangy, and refreshing taste, combining the flavor of coconut with the sweetness of the other fruits. Served with a few ice cubes, it became a cool, sweet, and delicious drink.

At first, Erina hesitated to drink, but after one sip, she couldn't stop herself. A rosy blush soon spread across her cheeks, evidence of the wine's potency. Even diluted, the alcohol concentration was still quite high.

It had been a long time since the two of them had shared a dinner like this, and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant.

"Here, open wide," Sui said playfully, holding up a piece of sashimi. He dipped it in an exaggerated amount of mustard and held it to Erina's lips.

Erina's cheeks were flushed from the wine, and her eyes, slightly glazed, sparkled with a touch of intoxication, making her look especially charming. She shyly opened her mouth and accepted the sashimi.

But in no time, her face twisted in discomfort. She shot Sui an indignant glare, lightly smacking his arm. "That's so mean!" she scolded.

Watching Erina stick out her pink tongue, panting from the sting of the mustard, Sui couldn't help but laugh. She looked adorably cute in that moment.

The two continued their dinner, laughing and teasing each other throughout the meal.

"I'll do the dishes," Erina offered, standing up after they had finished eating.

She had been taking on more household duties lately, much like a housewife.

"Alright. I'll come over to your place later," Sui replied.

Erina's face reddened slightly, and she gave him a playful, flirtatious look. There was a rare hint of mature charm in her gaze.

'Erina really is starting to act more and more like a young woman,' Sui mused with a smile. Suddenly, he remembered that Tohru and Kanna hadn't eaten yet, so he headed back to the kitchen to gather up the leftover food and made his way to his apartment.

He had intentionally prepared extra earlier, and fortunately, the grilled dishes were still warm, though the sashimi had cooled down.

"Sui, is dinner ready?" Kanna asked eagerly, running over as soon as she caught a whiff of the food. She hugged his legs and looked up at him with wide, sparkling eyes.

"Yep," Sui smiled, lifting her into his arms. He called out to Tohru to come join them for dinner.

"This fish is delicious! Even better than the one Elma gave us last time!" Tohru exclaimed. Normally, tuna is eaten in small, delicate bites, paired with mustard or other condiments to be savored slowly. But Tohru crammed multiple pieces of sashimi into her mouth at once, chewing enthusiastically.

If anyone else saw how she was eating such high-quality sashimi, they would be devastated by the waste. But Sui could only watch in silent amusement.

"Elma gave you something to eat?" Sui asked, curious.

"Uh-huh!" Tohru grinned, revealing a sharp little fang. "When you were away, we went to the beach with Elma. She caught this fresh from the sea. It was so tasty!"

"Playing at the beach?" Sui asked, raising an eyebrow. "You didn't… destroy anything, did you?"

He recalled seeing multiple news reports about islands sinking in the area that very afternoon. Could it be these two dragons were the culprits?

"No!" Tohrus face flushed as she stammered, trying to cover her slip-up. "Tohru was very well-behaved, wasn't she, Kanna?"

"Uh-huh," Kanna mumbled through a mouthful of food, though it was clear her focus was entirely on her plate.

Tohru and Kanna happily devoured the feast laid out before them, while Sui, already full from his earlier meal, had little appetite.

He had considered inviting Erina and Tohru to have dinner together, but remembering Tohru's unpredictable temperament, he decided against it.

"This drink is delicious!" Tohru said, gulping down the Sakeyashi Fruit mixed with juice and letting out a loud burp.

Sui shook his head. 'That's not a drink—it's sake.'

"I want some too," Kanna said, her eyes lighting up.

"No way, you're too young for alcohol," Tohru chided, keeping the wine all to herself.

Tohru continued to drink, finishing more than twenty pounds of fruit sake. It was enough to knock out ten adults. Eventually, her round cheeks turned bright red, like a ripe apple, and her golden, slit-pupil eyes glazed over with drunkenness. She looked both innocent and utterly adorable.

"I will destroy all humans! And crush all their castles!" Tohru suddenly shouted, raising her hands dramatically. She burped again, spitting out a small flame.

Sui could only sigh at the spectacle. 'She's acting like some kind of dictator,' he thought, imagining Tohru as a tiny version of Hitler.

'I wonder what strange shows Tohrus has been watching lately.' He made a mental note to find some monster-themed TV shows for them to watch next time. Whenever he played that kind of show for them, both Tohru and Kanna would sit quietly on the couch, completely absorbed.

After Kanna finished eating, she obediently went over to the TV to play video games. She really was an easygoing little dragon—content as long as there was food and entertainment.

"Sui, I like you the most," Tohru murmured affectionately as Sui carried her to the bedroom. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her warm, flushed face against his cheek.

"Yeah, I like Tohru the most too," Sui replied, a little helpless. But looking at Tohrus cute, drunken face, he couldn't help but smile.
