Sui suddenly remembered that they had recently moved into a larger space with more than one room, so he nodded in agreement.
Carefully placing Kanna aside, Sui and Tohru quietly tiptoed to another room.
"When humans do something intimate like this, they have to take off their clothes, right?" Tohru asked curiously.
"That's right," Sui confirmed with a nod.
"Humans are such a hassle," Tohru grumbled, but despite her complaint, she began removing the scales from her body, revealing her more human-like form. She glanced at Sui with a shy expression.
Ever since Sui had pulled the sword from her body and saved her life, Tohru had fallen deeply in love with him. Though he was a human, with a lifespan of only a hundred years, while she was a dragon that could live for millions, Tohru still wanted to be with him.
Among humans, only the closest of relationships allowed for such intimacy. Among dragons, this was also considered a sacred and solemn act, reserved for lifelong partners. Tohru couldn't wait to solidify her relationship with Sui.
Sui, too, had grown fond of his cute dragon maid. He stepped forward and gently reached out to touch the horns on her head.
Tohru's face turned even redder, her blush so intense it seemed like it might drip blood. Her green tail swayed slightly in nervous excitement.
Then, she lay down on the quilt, raising her tail in the air.
"...Tohru, what are you doing?" Sui asked, bewildered by her strange posture.
"Eh? Isn't this how dragons do it?" Tohru asked, confused.
Sui couldn't help but imagine the scene of two dragons together. It did seem like that would be the correct posture for dragons...
"But that's not how humans do it," Sui explained.
"Really? What's the right way then? I didn't see it on TV," Tohru asked innocently, her golden eyes full of curiosity as her tail wagged.
Sui was at a loss for words. How could such things be shown on TV? Not even on late-night shows.
He walked over, gently turning Tohru around so she was lying properly, and looked down at her.
Tohru stared up at him in a daze. Her heart suddenly began to race, and she felt a surge of nervousness, mixed with anticipation.
Sui leaned in and kissed her gently. Tohru closed her eyes, her body relaxing into the moment.
As things began to progress, Tohru whispered softly, her voice filled with shy nervousness, "This is my first time... Please be gentle."
Sui found it a bit amusing that a dragon would ask him to be gentle, but he nodded and replied, "Alright, I understand."
However, just before the final moment, Sui hesitated.
"Eh? Sui, what's wrong? Am I different from human girls?" Tohru asked, worried. She feared that Sui might back away because of the differences between their races.
But... don't I look like a human girl now? Tohru thought, looking down at her own body. She felt that, aside from the fleshy tail covered in green scales, she should be no different from any human girl.
"Tohru, you're not going to suddenly transform into a dragon, are you?" Sui asked, concerned.
He couldn't help but imagine the scenario. If Tohru suddenly turned into her full dragon form... The image was too overwhelming for him to handle.
"Don't worry. I'll try my best to control myself and not transform," Tohru reassured him with a serious expression.
"…Alright," Sui nodded, reassured.
…
The next morning, Sui was woken up by the weight of something pressing down on him.
Tohru and Kanna were both lying on top of him, fast asleep.
The two were resting peacefully, with Tohru's sharp little canine teeth visible and Kanna's lips slightly wet with drool.
Seeing Kanna there as well, Sui was at a loss for words. She must have woken up in the middle of the night, noticed that he and Tohru were gone, and come looking for them.
As he thought back to the events of the previous night, Sui couldn't help but reflect on his experience. After some "firsthand verification," he found that Tohru's body was indeed no different from that of a human girl—except for her fleshy tail, which always made things feel a bit strange.
Thankfully, despite Tohru's enthusiasm, she had managed to control herself and hadn't reverted to her dragon form during the night.
At that moment, Tohru woke up as well, her golden, vertical pupils filled with affection.
Sui was unaware that, among dragons, such an act was highly sacred. Once a relationship was established, it meant they were bonded as lifelong partners.
"Are you awake?" Sui smiled, gently touching one of her horns.
Tohru's cheeks flushed slightly as she smiled back, her sharp little canine teeth making her look particularly adorable.
"Today is another energetic day!" Tohru exclaimed, jumping up and accidentally knocking Kanna to the ground in her excitement.
"Tohru, your clothes…" Sui reminded her, a bit exasperated.
"Oh, right! Sorry," Tohru realized, and with a thought, her scales transformed back into her maid outfit.
At that moment, Kanna, rubbing her sleepy eyes, looked up at Sui in confusion. She toddled over, hugging his hand, and in her baby-like voice, said, "Sui, I'm hungry."
"Alright, I'll make breakfast right away," Sui said, getting up.
He prepared a hearty breakfast for Kanna and Tohru before heading to the bathroom.
Inside, Erina was already brushing her teeth.
She seemed to be in an unusually good mood, humming a cheerful tune. When she noticed Sui entering, she glanced at him smugly, full of pride.
Finally! She had beaten this irritating guy once and escaped his clutches.
Sui, puzzled by her attitude, asked, "What's making you so happy today?"
"Hmph!" Erina snorted triumphantly, refusing to tell him. "I won't tell you!"
Sui could only sigh.
At that moment, the system chimed in with a prompt: "Ding! The reward package from yesterday hasn't been opened yet. Would you like to open it now?"
Leaving the bathroom, Sui walked into the kitchen and replied, "Open it."
"Congratulations! You have obtained the Seven-Star Sword, Wenqu."
A small kitchen knife appeared before him.
This knife was slightly smaller than the Derous Knife, likely intended for more delicate tasks.
Sui checked the system description.
—Cinderella
—Features: Sharp, never dulls
—Origin: Toriko
Sui nodded in satisfaction. The knife shared the same sharpness and durability as his previous one. Now he no longer had to worry about handling food with precision in the kitchen.
