Lucas opened his eyes to find himself in the middle of a void.
"Five years since I gained control over your almighty body." A voice spoke.
Lucas grunted before looking at a certain direction. Infront of him, a large cherry blossom tree resided. He looked at the very top and saw a shadowy figure.
"More like five years of freedom from you." Lucas replied in an annoyed tone.
The figure jumped down from the tree. As he cwmb closer.... he was revealed to be Identical to Lucas.
He stood straight before walking towards Lucas with an evil smirk on his face.
"Oh don't be like that my darling Lucas~" the look-a-like spoke in a smug tone "I was born into your body when you recieved the 'system' on the day you were born." Lucas sighed.
{I grant confirmation on how the host's look-a-like was born the day I; the system, awakened within the host's body}
Another voice spoke. Lucas groaned and looked at his clone with disgust.
"But I am very disappointed on how I couldn't kill your precious best friend; Amanda." That was the last straw.
Lucas punched his clone with extreme speed. His clone was grazed on his cheek.
"C'mon Lucas, no need to do anything we'll regret!" The other Lucas said in a panicked tone.
Lucas ignored him and lunged with all of his remaining might.
(Uh-oh...) the other Lucas thought as he tried evading Lucas' attacks.
After a while, both Lucas(es) began goin into an all out clash. With both of them landing several attacks upon each other.
Until...
{The host's physical body is prepared. Shall I initiate the awakening?} The system's voice e spoke.
Hearing this, Lucas quickly separated himself from his doppelganger and answered in a loud tone.
"Is that even a question? YES!!" Lucas' voice filled the room... or void.
{Understood. Initiating awakening....} soon, Lucas' body began crumbling. He looked at his clone and smirked.
"Bye-Bye... FAKER!!" With that, Lucas completely disappeared.
The other Lucas looked at where Lucas initially stood, and grinned like a mad-man. He began blushing like a yandere and cried out,
"Oh Lucas is so CUTE when he's annoyed!!" He raised his fist onto the sky and yet again, yelled. "I don't why I'm in your mind... but I promise, You... will... be... mine..."
Meanwhile...
Lucas opened his eyes to find himself in a hospital room. He tried getting up when he felt a sharp pain in his heart.
"Damn... guess my heart was stolen by Blood Tiger." Lucas joked as he lifted up his shirt revealing how his heart had leapt out of his body and was dangling outside of his chest.
Lucas activated his regeneration, and with it his heart slowly went back into his body. After a while, he felt a surge of relief which made him lay on his bed.
(No visitors? I thought atmost, Amanda was here) Lucas told himself.
At that moment, as if hearing his thoughts, the doors opened and Amanda walked in looking at the floor with years in her eyes. Lucas saw her, and called out to her.
"This isn't my funeral, Amanda." The girl stopped in her tracks.
She looked up and saw her childhood crush and best friend all healthy and well. More tears began emerging from the tips of Amanda's eyes as she slowly approached Lucas.
Two steps in, and she lunged at Lucas. When she got a hold of him she burst into tears.
"I thought I'd never be able to talk to you... ever again." she said in an extremely sad and excited tone. Lucas smile as Amanda cried in his hands.
"No matter what I do, or where I go, I'll always return to you." Amanda continued her cry until she eventually fell asleep in his arms.
