Conviction
Christopher was glad to an extent.
He would be lying if he said he didn't find himself developing a superiority complex. And you couldn't really blame him. He'd only been in this world for a little less than a day and he was already at a level of strength most living beings revered. He had a pet that would make most people scream in fear, and a weapon that his system quite literally told him not to use.
With all of this, it was almost impossible for him to not grow conceited. So when he constantly attacked Paul who gave him the same feeling as an immovable wall, he felt a little glad.
'Good thing he wiped the arrogance out of me before it grew into a problem.' He thought as he gave a wide swing of his sword and a huge wave of destructive energy shot out in an arc.
He no longer had any reservations about using the Crimson Destroyer and used it to its full capacity. Each swing left visible tears in space and cut out deep crevices in the floor like it was butter, truly living up to it's annihilation characteristic.
By now, the training room was in a mess, the floor was filled with cracks and was upturned in many places, the walls were falling apart, and the ceiling looked like it was about to collapse.
Christopher, Silver, and Paul were blurs as they moved around the training room dozens of times in a few seconds as they fought with vigor.
Silver howled and near the ceiling of the room, a transparent moon formed, and then from it, beams of lunar energy began to shoot down like an orbital Cannon and rain down on Paul.
Meanwhile, other than using the sword and the mirage Sword Style, Christopher was also continuously throwing out different fire spells to deal damage.
Despite all of this though, the only injury they had inflicted on him was that cut on his cheek from before which caught him off guard. Other than that, Paul had been countering them perfectly.
'He really is talented. But, I wonder if this is all he has.' With that thought, Paul suddenly jumped back far away from them.
"I am more than impressed." He said and Christopher just let out a bitter smile.
"Thank you, Family head." He said and Paul chuckled.
"It's fine. But, I want you to attack me with everything now." He suddenly said and Christopher looked at him in surprise.
"Your most powerful attack. I want to see it. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just hit me with everything you've got." Paul said with surety and Christopher blinked before sighing.
"As you wish." He said and his aura suddenly changed.
Paul narrowed his eyes as for the first time since this fight started, he actually felt a slight touch of danger.
'From someone several ranks below me? How exciting.' Paul thought and found himself smiling.
Meanwhile, Christopher decided to make Silver return to his Dimension and placed two fingers on the surface of his sword.
When he did, the white hot flames suddenly blazed on its surface wildly, and amazingly, they merged with the red annihilation energy, and the result was astonishing.
A pink flame that actually looked quite gentle as it wasn't as violent on the surface of the blade like the white flames or the annihilation energy, instead, it moved calmly.
Then, Christopher raised his body to be as straight as a sword, and he then held up the Crimson Destroyer with both hands.
"Mirage Sword Style, Final form…" He started.
To be frank, the Mirage Sword Style wasn't the only sword style in the book, however, of all the ones he saw, it was the one Christopher took a liking to as he quite enjoyed the idea of fast attacks that the enemy couldn't avoid. But what he liked even more was its final form, and it was for a single reason. Damage.
"Catastrophe!" He yelled out and swung down the sword.
Paul raised his hand and in an instant, a snowflake shaped barrier appeared in front of him.
Then, Christopher completed his motion, and the pink flames surged out.
Sound seemed to disappear as an incredibly wide and thick pink beam erupted out and seemed to engulf everything that was in that general direction.
Reality seemed to break apart as cracks appeared in space and the ground, walls, and floor were destroyed on such a fundamental level that their atoms were literally disassembled.
The castle actually shook from the intensity of the attack and many people were alarmed.
Meanwhile, Christopher was panting heavily as he felt his muscles ache. He'd really exerted himself with that last attack as it required every muscle in his body to move in tandem and concentrate all their force in his arms before he swung down.
Still, the result could be considered satisfactory as from the part his sword hit, a deep crevice formed and gradually got wider and deeper as the beam advanced. It was total destruction. However.
'That guy's a monster and you can't tell me otherwise.' Christopher thought as ahead, there was a small piece of the floor that hadn't been destroyed, andon it, Paul could be seen standing calmly. The snowflake shaped barrier he'd created was cracked in multiple places and filled with chips, but it was still there.
'He's at the orange rank, but that attack was leaking into the red rank. Incredible.' Paul thought as he dispersed his barrier and hopped over the large crevice to land in front of Christopher.
"How was that, Family head?" Christopher said after catching his breath.
"Terrific. It's a shame you don't want to affiliate yourself with anyone. Otherwise, I would spare no expense to grow your talent." He said seriously and Christopher nodded.
"Actually, Titus asked me earlier to be his teacher and I agreed." He suddenly said and Paul's eyes widened slightly.
"Really? That's a little surprising. The boy never took any interest in a teacher a brought for him, and so despite his talent, he never grew that much. I think it's very fitting that you would teach him." Paul said with approval.
"I see. So who's going to fix this place by the way?" Christopher asked while looking at the total destruction he caused to the room.
"Don't worry about that, I'll have someone come and see it. However, there will be a bit of curiosity concerning you now due to you attack shaking the whole castle. But I'll just say that I was training." Paul said and started walking out of the room. But as he reached the entrance, he suddenly paused and turned to Christopher.
"I'm very interested in you Christopher. I'm eager to see how much more you can do in the future." And with that, he left.
"Holy hell." He let out a sigh and decided to keep his sword away and left the room. As he walked back towards his own room, his eyes were calculative as he now made a decision.
'I'm not in a rush, but…'' The scenes of the battle replayed in his mind and an inexplicable feeling of pressure suddenly weighed down on him.
'I don't feel like staying at this level for too long.' He thought, a smile filled with excitement appearing on his face.

"Family head, the one named Christopher, suddenly left the building. He said he was going to the forest to "train"." In his office, Richard reported to Paul whole used a rag to clean his cheek.
"Really? Seems like my fight with him motivated him." Paul said with a tone of amusement.
"... You fought with him, Sir?" Richard showed genuine surprise and Paul nodded lightly.
"Just decided to have a small spar with him. And I must say, that boy is incredibly impressive, I'd say he'd give even you some trouble if you decided to fight." His words shocked Richard.
'But he's just at the orange rank! How can he show so much power. Wait…" He looked at Paul.
"Was he the one responsible for the castle shaking?" He asked and Paul nodded again.
"Now I'm curious, just what will he be able to do in the future." Paul thought with a smile.

'The system said I need a bunch of land, materials, trees, and living things to upgrade the dimension.' He thought
He ran deep into the forest as he didn't want anyone interfering with what he wanted to do. So when he was at least 30 km deep, he finally stopped.
"Silver." He called out and the large wolf appeared while panting and looking at Christopher in excitement.
Christopher couldn't help but smile and pet the wolf's head. He may seem terrifying to others, but to him, he was just a good boy.
After stroking Silver for a bit, he got back on track.
"Okay boy. I want you to uproot as many trees as possible. Don't stop until I tell you to do so." Christopher said his reason for summoning the wolf.
Silver tilted his head, slightly confused at the order. Regardless, he had no qualms with doing so as he just turned into a blur, and a moment later, Christopher saw trees suddenly flying into the air before landing with heavy thuds.
Christopher chuckled at the wolf's eagerness before deciding to get busy himself.
'System, what's the range of the things you can put inside the dimension?' He asked
'That makes things a lot easier.' Christopher smiled. Then he put his hand on the floor and extended his perception to its limit which was a kilometer.
So in a kilometer radius, the ground, air, Mana, and rocks beneath suddenly disappeared, leaving a huge empty space.
Silver, who had been returning with a bunch of trees, felt its jaw drop when the massive area suddenly vanished as if some celestial eraser had just removed it from existence.
"Nice." Christopher said in satisfaction as he felt the dimension grow.
It was a strange sensation, but it was as if it was within his soul, and he could feel it expand and his connection to it grow.
He turned and saw silver looking at him in shock.
'Hmm. Now that I can do this, him bringing trees isn't necessary.' He thought and decided to give the wolf another command.
"Silver, find the closest, large water source. And if possible, somewhere filled with all sorts of minerals. You understand right?" He asked and the wild nodded its head vigorously.
"Good. Now go." He commanded and silver became a blur as he immediately moved to complete his task.
Christopher on the other hand decided to continue moving things into the dimension, and as he did, he continuously got prompts of things being enhanced.
