Chereads / MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM / Chapter 4 - Massacre!

Chapter 4 - Massacre!

Massacre!

From what he could see, there were about 12 wolves in all, and the Alpha made them total to thirteen.

'System, I can handle these guys right?' Christopher asked.

Hearing this Christopher nodded.

He wasn't fully sure why he wanted to kill the wolves. Maybe he felt angry after inheriting the previous owner's memories. But he didn't exactly care.

He jumped down from the tree he was on and came into the clearing where the wolves could see him clearly.

It was quite menacing when Christopher stared at the massive wolves that turned their attention to him when he got close. But despite that, he found that he didn't feel nervous.

The best way he could describe it was how one would feel if someone pointed a gun at them, but they knew that the gun was actually fake so it couldn't actually hurt them. Thus, there was no need to fear.

"Sup you guys." Christopher said trying to sound imposing, but he failed miserably.

The wolves looked at each other as if wondering if this human was brain dead to approach them like this.

The Alpha seemed to recognize Christopher as he was the prey they had been chasing before. The Alpha looked at two wolves before pointing it's paw at Christopher.

The wolves understood the assignment and immediately dashed towards Christopher. They'd played with their food before and let him escape. Now they would not make the same mistake.

Christopher saw the wolves approaching, easily running faster than horses. However, he didn't lose his cool. Instead, he ran forward as well, far faster than the wolves.

His rapid movement caught the two wolves off guard, and before they could react, Christopher had already placed himself between the two wolves.

He turned towards the first one and pulled his fist back before punching forward, making sure to control his strength.

Despite this though, he felt the bones of the wolf shattering as the force sent the thing tumbling tens of meters before smashing into a tree.

It coughed up blood and pieces of its organs before slumping.

The other wolf was shocked. But that ended up being a mistake as Christopher hopped to its head and kicked it, instantly shattering its skull and rupturing its brain.

Its body flew a few feet into the air before crashing down, lifeless.

"Not bad." Christopher grinned and stared at his fist before looking at the rest of the wolves that were staring at him with unmasked shock.

"Let's go crazy."

The Alpha couldn't understand.

For years it and its pack could be considered to be a powerhouse on the edge of the forest.

They always hunted with each other, and very rarely did they find anyone that could match them.

Moreover, the Alpha felt that it would make a breakthrough in its realm soon, and when that happened, it and its pack could expand their territory deeper into the forest.

It was supposed to be just a matter of time.

So then…

Why was the weak human it had been chasing a few hours ago holding it by the throat after utterly decimating its pack!!!

"Well that was easy." The human said, though the wolf didn't quite understand.

"I would kill you, but I think you would be a perfect test subject." The human said and the Alpha suddenly felt a chill go down its spine.

Before it could react, it suddenly found itself within a strange space. It was a large amount of strange looking soil surrounded by a white space like it was an Island.

However, before the Alpha could reply, a soul wrenching pain suddenly overtook its body.

Christopher saw the prompt and grinned, this is what he had been hoping for.

"Bring it out." He ordered, and a moment later, the wolf reappeared in front of him.

However, it looked very different from before he had put it inside his dimension.

Its size had doubled and its fur had become pure silver while its previously brown eyes had turned a cool blue. Its teeth and claws looked sharp enough to slice mountains in half, and even through its furry coat, the powerful muscles that made up its very being couldn't be hidden.

Race: Moonborne Wolf

Rank: Lord

Affinity: Moon

Physique: Mid Advanced

Bloodline: Lunar Lupine

Christopher saw the stats and whistled, he had no idea how good a Lord ranked beast were, but he was pretty sure it wasn't half bad.

General, Lord, Ruler, King, Monarch, Emperor, Tyrant, and Beast God. With the Lord rank being equivalent to the blue rank.> Christopher's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

'Wait, doesn't that mean it's stronger than me?!?!' He exclaimed inwardly.

At that moment, the former Alpha suddenly got close and licked his face, snapping Christopher out of his inner monologue.

"Woah, hey there." He blinked and subconsciously reached out to touch the Wolf's head, and surprisingly (or not), it closed its eyes and Christopher pat it.

"Its so soft… I guess as long as I was stronger before the subjugation, then it will be loyal to me even if it gets stronger than me after the enhancement." Christopher reasoned.

Christopher was confused when he heard this.

'But it's at a higher rank.' He thought.

After the explanation, Christopher's eyes widened. Now it made a little more sense why he could blow up a mountain.

"Well, whatever. I'm surprised that you're this submissive. Aren't you mad that I decimated your pack?" Christopher asked, not really expecting an answer. But to his surprise, the wolf actually shook its head.

"You can understand me?" He asked, eyes wide. And the wolf nodded.

'Cool.' He thought.

"Anyway, it seems like I'll have to come up with a name for you." The moment he said that,, the wolf's eyes gleamed and its tail started wagging. It was so hard that it actually generated a small dust storm.

Christopher chuckled at the sight and thought for a moment before saying.

"From now on, your name is Silver." The wolf, Silver growled in acceptance asbit accepted its new name.

"Good, now, let's get out of here." As Christopher said that, he looked at the corpses of the dead wolves and thought for a moment before deciding to put all of them into his dimension. They would probably sell for a bit and he'd be able to earn enough to carry out his plans.

"Let's go Silver." He told the Wolf and he growled in acceptance before rushing after Christopher who had already dashed ahead.

"Dammit." Hughes cursed as he barely blocked the sharp red sword energy from his opponent.

The force pushed him backwards, giving him slight breathing space which he used to glance around. And truly, the situation wasn't looking too good.

The carriage him and his men were protecting was surrounded by people wearing cloaks. Most of them were at the same strength as his soldiers, the issue though was that they were a whole lot more.

"Pay attention!" A voice brought him back to the present and he hastily drew upon his mana to cast a water barrier to block the incoming red slash.

However, upon contact, the water barrier only slowed the slash for a moment before bursting, but it gave Hughes just enough time to dodge the attack.

'Tch, if not for that damn sword then I'd be suppressing him right now.' He thought in annoyance as he looked at his opponent, a wretched looking man with scars covering his face.

In his hands, a long red blade that resembled a Katana could be seen undulating with an ominous red energy.

"You should just give up. You aren't half bad you know. Give up the person in that carriage and I'l consider letting you join our order." The man said, though his face made it nearly impossible to trust him.

"I'd rather die." Hughes didn't even consider it as he immediately rejected the offer.

"A shame. Guess I'l just grant your wish!" The man yelled and the red energy around the sword roared to live before firing outwards like a wave.

'Crap!' The power from this attack far exceeded the previous ones.

Without hesitation, Hughes drew upon his remaining mana reserves.

'Spirit of Water. Safeguard me!' He chanted in his mind and pointed the tip of his sword forward.

Immediately, water formed at the tip of the sword before blooming outwards the create a huge barrier shaped like a diamond.

Not a moment later, the red energy crashed into the barrier causing it to tremble and flicker and Hughes spat out a mouthful of blood as his mana instantly hit rock bottom.

Regardless, he gritted his teeth and forced the barrier to stay up at the expense of his own lifeforce, the result being blood leaking out of his orifices and his eyes becoming bloodshot.

Fortunately, the attack eventually lost its power and disappeared.

The moment it did, Hughes' barrier also vanished as he collapsed on his knees and coughed up even more blood before panting heavily.

"You blocked it. That's a little surprising." The man said, sounding genuinely surprised.

"Still, you used up all your mana. So this will be your end." The man said coldly and raised his sword, the red energy flaring up once more.

Hughes tried to move but his body refused to listen to him as he had completely drained it of its energy. Hence, he could only watch in despair as the man swung the sword down before unleashing another wave of energy towards him.

However, just as Hughes was about to close his eyes, he was shocked to see a figure in tattered clothes appear between him and the attack.

His eyes widened in shock and he wanted to shout at the stranger to move. However, he was even more shocked when the stranger suddenly raised his hand, and then when the attack reached him, he swatted it away akin to how one would treat a fly.

Astonishingly, the whole attack scattered like it was never there, leaving Hughes, the man, and everyone else who had silently been spectating in shock.

"Now what do we have here?" The man said with a faint smile as he cast a glance over everyone before suddenly saying.

"Silver."
