Exchanging a glance, Mo Yu and Xiao Yan agreed that this place was ideal for resting and recuperation.
With a wave of his sleeve, the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python shot out. As Mo Yu pointed towards the cave, it screeched and transformed into a colorful streak, darting straight into the cave.
Moments later, a wave of foul air surged out, followed by a massive shadow as a terrifying-looking flying magical beast fled from the cave in fright. It screeched unpleasantly, flying into the distance and disappearing over the horizon.
"Cousin Xiao Yan, let's go." After driving away the third-tier magical beast, Mo Yu and Xiao Yan claimed the cave as their own.
Once inside, they tidied up the area and found a place to rest.
Just as they sat down, Yao Lao's ethereal figure slowly floated out.

Yao Lao nodded, a thoughtful look crossing his aged face as he stared at Mo Yu.
Unaware of the two powerful figures observing him, Mo Yu focused on drawing the thunder energy into his energy vortex.
"Breakthrough!"
With that command, the barrier blocking his energy vortex yielded, and a flood of energy surged inside, colliding violently with the crystalline Dou Qi core at its center.
With a thunderous roar, the vast energy flowed into the core, causing it to expand in size. His enhanced sensitivity let him feel his strength charging toward the barrier of a new level.
At the same time, Xiao Yan, having refined the vast medicinal energy within his body after swallowing Yao Lao's pill, reached the breakthrough moment before Mo Yu.
In the cave, Yao Lao observed Xiao Yan's face turn an almost jade-like hue and stroked his beard, nodding at Xiao Yan's steadily rising aura.

But just as he finished speaking, She Lao's raspy voice sounded.
