Today was the day. Today ,me and Athena would take the Entrance Exam to enter Rune Taymore High Academy!
The Exam had two parts: Physical Exam and Written Exam both of which I can top with my stats.
In this past 2 weeks , I improved a lot , I started to form a six packed body! How cool was that! I mean I know it isn't that great but for previously a fat person , this was a dream come true!

Previous week's challenge was the same which increased my stats and I taught Athena my favorite technique: Entrukshya , a technique which could break bones of prehistoric creatures like dragons.

I snapped out of my thought, in these past days me and Athena's bond grew stronger , she called me Lucan instead of Mr.Axton or Mr.Lucan. She was a really good person at heart and I looked after her as if she was my child.

Me and Athena now entered the Rune Taymor High , we walked in a simple looking room and wrote the Exam and then went to the stands where I would be called for a Test.
"Hey Lucan , I'm worried if I might lose"
"Don't worry. You won't lose , just remember to relax your body. I know you can do it"
I smiled and reassured her making her blush which I simply ignored.

Athena's name was first called to the test, amd she went with a Blue colored armour which was given. After a while , she came back with bruises , her face was full of cuts which made me angry.
"Who did this?" I questioned.
Her face showed full of anger ,I never knew she could look this angry.
"Just remember to not show full potential. Or you'll regret it."
I walked onto a square looking arena which was larger than the school ground and it was covered with earth. And in the middle was a person with brunette red hair , I knew this person from T.V , he was the successor of the Grace Rune: Alex Grace Mitchell , an internet celebrity , model and a professional Idol.
"Are you Lucan Drax Axton, an Unawakened?"
"Yes."
Alex took a basic taekwondo stance , I was 100% sure he would use his Rune more.
"It's simple to pass the test , just survive for 2 minutes against a monster I'll summon, you'll be disqualified if you sustain grade 2 injury."
'Nailed it!'
I didn't respond but took a basic fighting stance and a pore erupted from Alex's body becoming larger and larger and a creature tore open the pore.
"Meowwww"
'This guy was definitely crazy , this cat was as big as a damn bear! How the hell am other people going to survive 2 minutes against this! No wonder Athena got so many cuts on her body , this was just absurd for a beginner like her , anyhow I've fought stronger creatures than this. This would be a Piece of cake.'
As I was thinking , the tiger looking cat jumping on me and I dodged it easily then it tried to rip of my face which I backstepped.
"Meowwwww!"
"Hey kitty ! Your getting your ass kicked!"
I punched the cat in it's vulnerable spot: the base of the skull.
Which killed the Cat like tiger.
"Mmm surprising powress for a Unawakened."
Alex could summon it a hundred more times but it was a test anyway. I came out of the Test Area with zero scratches and no energy drained.
"Are you okay?! Are you hurt anywhere??"
Athena was really frantic , she was freaking out. I only saw my children getting sad like this. And I smiled at her and told everything was fine.

'Goddess Aurora created a useless panel which I do not need.'
I guess I hurt the panel's feelings as it didn't respond after.
Me and Athena checked our score and Athena got 80/100 getting accepted and I got 100/100. And we were told to go and sit in Class 1-D where it was openly written 'The Classroom for Useless Runes Users' which made a mockery of my creation.
As I entered the class , I felt that feeling which I felt in My past life. A huge amount of power and talent mixed with unhealthy emotions. They all emitted digust and despair. I didn't realise until I heard that godforsaken r*t*rded voice.
[Ding! You have officially become part of Class 1-D! You are given 50 points in intelligence for passing your Entrance Exam!]
'Are you seriously doing this??'
I looked in the room and it was full of cig*r*ttes smoke and liqu*r smell along with some kids dancing on the floor weirdly.
"Lucan , I think we have been given wrong classroom"
"Athena. This is not the wrong classroom , we are Unawakened, we are not the same as others"
Then weird glimpses of memories stuffed inside his brain.
