"Karl, if you're seeing this... please, stop. Surrender yourself. Whatever happens, we'll find a way to fix it together," his mom's voice sounded hoarse, almost teary.
"Your dad is sick because of all this. Your sister can't stop crying," his mom continued. "You're not alone, Karl. Please, come back."
