Karl totally stopped his step, checking out the panel system in front of him when he heard that familiar voice in his head.
[ New Quest Available : ]
[ Anti-Boundaries ! ]
- Target: Other peoples in your apartment building.
- Objective: Turn their light conversation vibes into some deep personal confessions.
Karl's eyes widened with excitement. "Deep personal confessions? This is gonna be fun," he thought to himself.
"I can already imagine how wild this is gonna get," he muttered, letting a grin spread across his face.
Without wasting any time, he strutted his way to the apartment building, with a skip in his step.
His mind started going wild, thinking about all the possibilities of how this quest would go down.
He pictured his neighbors, usually all low-key and secretive, suddenly spilling embarrassing childhood stories, relationship dramas, or even hidden financial struggles they've been keeping to themselves for years.
Karl was practically buzzing with anticipation to see what would unfold.
When he reached the entrance of the building, his grin widened even more. He decided that the best place to trigger the hijack was in the hallway.
This is where most residents gathered after work or school, chatting it up before retreating to their own apartments. This place would be the perfect stage for the little chaos he was about to create.
Karl quickly checked the panel in front of him, setting up the hijack with precision.
[ Common Sense Hijack System ]
> Common Sense: It's totally normal for peoples to spill deep personal confessions during daily conversation.
Karl pointed his finger to the 'Enter' button, and with a swift tap, the hijack was activated.
The familiar ding sound signaled the start of the chaos.

"Let's see how this goes down," he mused, leaning casually against the wall.
Soon enough, he saw a group of residents huddled near the elevator.
There were three young women and two dudes, all engaged in light banter. Usually, their conversation were just small talk or daily stuff, but this time, something was different. Karl could see subtle shifts in their body language, as if the hijack was taking over.
One of the dudes, usually quiet and barely nodding, suddenly approached with a serious look. He was from the fourth floor, someone who rarely spoke more than a few words in social settings.
"You know," he said in a low but intense tone, "sometimes I imagine you guys massaging my D. Like... ughhh... I really wanna get rough and dirty with you all!"
One of the women blinked, clearly taken aback by the sudden turn in conversation.
Before she could respond, she found herself speaking, as if a strong force compelled her to open up.
"My suspicions were correct," she said, her voice trembling. "You always seemed weird, but hey, I often play with myself down there since my bf's D can't satisfy my cravings!"
Karl almost burst out laughing.
"Hell yeah, that's insane.." he thought, witnessing confessions flowing like crazy.
They shared without hesitation, and Karl could see how bizarre this was for them—yet they kept going as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
The second dude, known as the group's clown, didn't want to be left out.
He flashed his signature wide grin, and with a serious face, began to speak.
"Truth be told," he said, lowering his head, "I've been hiding this for years, I like buying used women's undies from shady online shops!"
Silence hung over the group for a moment.
Everyone was fixed on the dude's confession, but soon enough, another woman started speaking, her eyes welling up.
"I've never told this to anyone before, but ever since I moved here, I've felt so alone," she said.
"Every night, I just sit in my apartment feeling like I don't belong in this world."
Karl stood there, casually leaning against the hallway wall, watching it all with a sense of satisfaction.
This system was truly something, he thought, feeling like a puppeteer controlling emotions and social interactions around him.
To him, there was a unique pleasure in watching the social boundaries people had built over years crumble in a matter of seconds, all thanks to his hijack.
As the hijack timer neared its end, Karl decided to move.
He strolled leisurely towards the elevator, passing by the group still caught up in their emotional conversations. Each confession felt deeper, more intense, and Karl could only enjoy every moment.
He gave them a slight nod as he passed, that mischievous grin still playing on his lips. They had no idea what was happening, just trapped in the emotional storm he created.

Karl smirked as he stepped into the elevator.
"Better than I expected," he thought contentedly.
The elevator doors closed, and just before they shut completely, he caught one final glimpse of the group. They seemed calmer now, but there was something different. Despite their heavy and emotional confessions, there was a sense of connection that hadn't been there before.
Back in his apartment, Karl plopped himself down on the sofa. He stretched his arms lazily, feeling satisfied with what had just unfolded.
"That was pretty darn entertaining," he muttered with a slight smile on his face. For a few moments, he just lay on the sofa, enjoying the sudden tranquility.
But the peace didn't last long. The ding from his system rang out again, signaling a new notification.
[ Quest Complete! ]
- 80 Hijack points, 50 XP.
Karl chuckled, proud of how far he'd come with the Common Sense Hijack System. Each quest he completed gave him new experiences, and this achievement further proved that he was getting more adept at manipulating the world around him using the system.
"What's next? Maybe a quest that really challenges me," he said, half to himself. But deep down, Karl knew that even the smallest hijack could have a profound impact—and that's what made it all the more intriguing.
Before he could delve further into his thoughts, another ding sounded, grabbing his attention once more.
[ Congratulations, Host level up to level 2 ]
Karl's eyes lit up. "Yeah.... 3 level left yahooe....."
With eager anticipation, he accessed his panel, ready to see the new possibilities awaiting him. Something bigger, stronger, and of course, more entertaining.
