I looked around me after Billy left my house, threatening to kill me.
"Keep dreaming," I said with a smirk.
"This idiot destroyed my coffee table and created a crater right before my kitchen. I shouldn't have let him go."
"I don't know why I feel pity for the idiot" ? I said to myself
"The noise we made was a bit loud, but I don't think anyone would notice it was a fight," I thought to myself as I cleared the remains of the ruined table from the living room.
Wait, am I forgetting something? I asked myself after cleaning the living room.
Wait a sec. I stood still for a few seconds as I tried to recall what I was forgetting.
Shit!! I shouted as I quickly ran up the stairs.
I pushed the door open and saw the pup still unconscious on the bed, but I noticed I was in pain.
I placed my palm on its head; it was as hot as a real flame.
I scooped the pup into my arms.
"I hope this works." I opened my mouth and carefully sank my fangs into the pup's neck.
After a few seconds, I removed my mouth. "I pray this helps you."
I began to turn back into my human form.
"Another set of clothes wasted," I sighed as I looked at my naked body in human form.
SUPREME WEREWOLF SYSTEM
(Daily Tasks: 3)
Run thirty kilometers 2x = 30 exp (completed)
Do sixty push-ups = 20 exp (completed)
Meditate for ten minutes = 20 exp (completed)
Well, I already completed my daily tasks, I thought to myself. I don't have anything to do right now.
Let me take a nap before the others come back home.
I got on my bed, where the pup was lying, and placed my hand on its head.
I hope you wake up soon, I thought to myself as I drifted into sleep.
Meanwhile...
Sam could be seen talking to Jack as they walked.
"Where have you been?" Sam asked.
"Why are you asking me that kind of question? Can't I move around?" Jack replied.
"It's none of my business if you move around or stay put. If I call you for something important, I just hope you pick up," Sam replied angrily as he quickened his pace.
"Jeez, don't get angry like that. You know I was just kidding. Please slow down," Jack said, walking faster.
"Where's your phone?" Sam asked.
"It's in my pocket," Jack replied.
"Switched off, right?" Sam asked with a frown.
"Well, you're right," Jack scratched his head awkwardly as he replied.
"You see, I've always told you not to switch off your phone when we're on a mission, but you never listen. Now, we could have killed a Terror Soul Beast, but you made us miss it." Sam sighed.
"What?! A Terror Soul Beast here? Where did you see it?" Jack asked, surprised.
"Calm down. The Terror Soul Beast is already dead because wolf boy killed it," Sam said.
"What? Wolf boy? I didn't know he was that strong. A Grade 3 Soul Beast isn't that powerful, but you still need to put in some effort to take it down. What about its core?" Jack asked.
"Well, it's a long story," Sam said as he began to explain everything he witnessed in the woods. By the time he was done, they had already arrived at their hotel room.
"So you're saying the wolf pup that the wolf boy brought from the woods swallowed the soul stone?" Jack asked to confirm.
"Yes," Sam replied.
"Damn! What a waste. So, what do we do now?" Jack asked.
"Well, not much. We wait until the day before the full moon, then we can discuss with Ethan how to stop the vampires' madness," Sam explained.
"That's all?" Jack asked.
"Yes, that's all. Were you expecting something else?" Sam asked as he stared at Jack.
"No, I just wanted to ask," Jack replied as he got up from the couch and walked to his room.
Meanwhile...
*Knock! Knock! Knock!*
The knocking on the door woke me up from my sleep.
I sat up on the bed with a sigh. Why does my sleep always get disturbed?
I got out of bed and walked down the stairs to open the door for my friends, knowing it was them.
"Hey, how was your personal holiday?" was the first thing I heard as soon as I opened the door.
"Come on, Ryan, you just came back from school. I don't really have time for you right now," I tried to frown as I spoke but failed as a smile crept onto my face.
"Well, I can see you don't really have time for me," Ryan said as we both began to laugh.
"How was your day?" Bassam asked.
"Well, it was interesting, with quite the story," I said with a smile.
"Diana, welcome back," I added with a smile.
Diana nodded with a smile of her own.
"Guys, let's go to the living room. I have a lot to tell you," I said as we all began to walk in.
"Wait a sec. Where's the coffee table?" Blake asked as soon as we walked into the living room.
"You guys should sit down first," I said as I sat on the couch and the rest quickly found places to sit.
"Guys, can you believe that Billy came here to attack me?" I asked.
"What?!" they all shouted.
"Are you serious?" Bassam asked.
"Sure am. You guys should listen to the rest of the story," I said, as I began to narrate everything from when I was in the woods until I bit the pup.
"I can't believe Billy came here to attack you. But I'm glad he went home crying," Ryan laughed.
"So, where's the wolf?" Diana asked.
"It's in my room," I replied.
"Let's go see it," Blake said as we all walked to my room.
"So, this is the pup," Blake said as he placed his hand on the pup's head. "Damn, it's really hot," he quickly withdrew his hand.
"So, you bit the wolf—maybe it will transform?" Blake asked.
"Yes, maybe it will help it evolve or stay alive. I don't know, I just had to try," I said.
"Well, let's wait for the outcome," Diana said.
"Yes, the outcome will tell," I said.
"Do you know that Ryan and Layla are going on a date tomorrow?" Blake asked.
"What?!!"
