The moment Alex saw Dario, he knew their plan had worked out. If Dario could handle it on his own, he would tell Alex to stay back. If not, there would be a direct attack from Alex and some of the men waiting for his command.
"Dario, you son of a bitch," Alex yelled, seeming affected by Dario changing sides, but if he didn't, the plan would fail.
Dario swallowed tightly, unsure if his boss understood the meaning of his last message about betraying him.
"Calm down, boss. How does it feel to be on the vulnerable side?" He asked sarcastically. Logan watched the anger and bitterness in Alex's eyes, raw enough to make him doubt if Dario was pretending.
Logan felt like he was going to have everything Alex held dear, no longer moved by Alex's threats.
"I will make sure you pay for this."
