Joanna's suspicion was confirmed that Logan was not in this alone. The man who entered the room stared at her as if she was going to be his next victim.
"I change my mind. I want her," he said seriously. Joanna lost her cool, unable to hide her fears. Don Ace looked young but mysterious.
"No, she's mine," Logan argued. Joan was glad she had not insisted on her relationship with Alex.
"We had a deal. You get her, and the police arrest Alex. What about the shares, huh?" Don Ace was not looking happy, but the way he kept staring at Joanna made her want to run.
"I'm working on it, and you have to trust me on this," Logan spoke pleadingly. Joanna was losing hope.
