The sleep cleared from Alex's face as if it had never been there before as he looked to his left and right for the woman he had spent the night with.
She was still his wife since the divorce was not finalized, but Grandpa's words pricked him hard.
"Grandpa, what are you talking about?" Alex asked worriedly. The old man responded casually,
"Logan sent me a message, telling me that the marriage was indeed fake because you divorced Adelaide. I already knew it was faked, but I thought you would come to your senses to truly make her your wife."
Alex had been searching for Logan for some time now, but this showed that the fool was still spying on him and also still had eyes on his wife.
